We’ve more than likely blown it now for top two. It has been a battle between the 3 teams for most of the season and twice we have bottled it when we really needed to win. We had our game in hand - QPR - and lost it. Today we let SU pass us and I really can’t see them giving up that automatic spot. So, will the lads find their shooting boots for the play-offs? If they don’t then I can’t see us doing well next season as Bielsa will probably leave - can Radz afford to pay him and his team for a second season? I don’t know!

The sad thing is that we controlled most of the game but we consistently fail in certain aspects. We've a tendency to flap at the back when under pressure. In the last third whereas as Sheff cut us open (now I see where they get their name...) we just faffed around their area and any chances we got were wasted. I know others will now accuse me of being negative but the stats tell it: 15 shots, 0 on target.

Depressing statistic that of our last 7 finals in the play offs or in the FA/ league cup, Cup Winners and European cup since beating Arsenal 1-0 in 1972 we have lost the lot. That's defeats to Sunderland, AC Milan, Bayern Munich, Charlton, Aston Villa, Watford and Doncaster

Disappointed but it’s not over yet. More drama to come I think.

----------------------------------------------------------------------just remembered we beat Liverpool 4-3 in the charity shield in 1992 so that improves us slightly but still pretty poor in one off finals, but maybe we're due one

Come on guys! To catch two points (beacause of GD) in 8 games, can easily happen

We now need to win every game, no excuses. If we do that, we will finish top 2. I think SU may have the odd draw which gives us a chance. Norwich deffo up now.

If we cant win every game now against teams outside top 6 then we shouldn't be going up. Birmingham away will be a tough fixture for us.

If we beat Millwall and Sheffield can't get a result against Bristol, then all of a sudden we're back in the top 2.

This race is so finely balanced, and Sheffield and Norwich will both still be feeling the pressure.

If we end up in a playoff final, yesterday’s game will be the template for how it goes.

We’ll outplay the opposition for most of the game while not scoring, then make a mistake and concede.

We really need an auto spot. Anything less and we’ve missed our chance.

Let's see what it looks like with five games to play before we start saying there is no chance of autos.

I would back us if we finished in the playoffs though.

Was always going to be a tough game, thought we created enough chances but failed to capitalise on them again.

Still all to play for there will be a few more twists & turns yet, chin up lads, keep the faith

8 games now that will define our season. April was always going to be the one. Every one of those games are winnable - 24 points is definitely possible to put us on 97 points!!

Even drop 6 points and we still hit 91.

If we get that amount of points and it is not enough this season, then I hold my hat up to those that better it. We will have delivered everything asked of us, and there is no way that the players, club or management could be derided in any way.

Don't agree with this talk that Norwich are up. There are 8 games left and it's still very tight. 1 point in it between us and Sheff Utd. Too close to call yet.

If we are in the playoffs, I'd fancy us over 2 legs against any of the teams that may finish 6th. And we've already shown what we can do to West Brom and outplayed Boro massively over the two games. You need a bit of luck to go up in the playoffs but no one will want to play us.
