So much pessimism

Hope you're right, Loidis, but we are the most fragile of the three, despite being capable of playing the best football. It'd just be our typically scheidt luck to miss autos on goal-difference, then lose the play-off final to a breakaway goal having hit the woodwork five times and had 68% possession

Sorry to be feeling so negative, but I can't help feeling that if a Leeds player had gone in with a studs-up 'tackle' like Baldock's yesterday, he'd have been sent off ..

Obviously it would be off the scale euphoria if Leeds get promoted this season and complete devastation if we don't and a feeling of we're jinxed and fate is against us yet again.
I actually do feel more optimistic today and think Bielsa and the boys are going to do a Rocky 2 and it's written in the stars we are going up!

Would have given anything to be 1 point off autos at this stage at the beginning of the season.

Still feel anything can happen with 8 games to go.

Or put it another way, if we were 1 point clear of 3rd place right now we would not be assuming we were uncatchable and I doubt that sheff utd think they are safe either.
However my belief is we will finish 3rd and go up after play offs. Be honest that's the best way to go up anyway!

I was working all day Saturday, I could have just checked result or recorded match, avoided contact with internet and watched match later.

I did the latter.

Why, because football is about the hope, anticipation, the emotion of the game not just the scores at the end.

So yes, it was very disappointing not to get a result (not as disappointing about the result, but more about the implications), but each match brings hope, anticipation and we know what our team can do. It just takes one result and whole situation changes.

We have Clarke coming back, in a fortnight Roofe will be so much closer to a return and one hopes Jansson will be ok.

The position is actually very positive and I still think we're going up automatically albeit maybe not as Champions...

Still plenty of football to be played. Sheff Utd look pretty poor to me and on another day it could have been a big win for us. People seem to forget we won at brammall lane as well.

Jonty, your antics remind me of the Cov v Leeds FA Cup semi in 1987 which was shown in its entirety on TV but approx. 2 hours after it happened. I remember some mates coming round to watch it, who said they daren't openly wear their Leeds tops in case someone shouted out the result to them in the street!

Warwick, I can't even switch my phone off because I might have customer calling to say they're late etc, I managed to get home unscathed as it were, but I've had other times where gotten through the whole day only to have an ex girlfriend unwittingly tell me the score thinking she's being helpful.....
