I thought they were garbage, should have pummeled them, but just not our day and no complaints from me. You don't take your chances, you lose those games.

Roofe is missed, you get the feeling he'd put those chances away Roberts and Bamford miss.

Remember the blades put a shift in with 10 men on Tuesday.

Sheffield were garbage? Seriously? They restricted us to zero shots on target, sliced us open on several occasions, which we completely failed to do with them. Oh, and they scored the goal that won the match. I'd go and watch the match again if I were you.

I watched the match, and didn’t think they played well at all.

Thought we opened them up constantly, and no shots on target was down to us not them.

Watched their last three games, and do not rate them at all. Deserved at most 2 points from them games

They didn't restrict us at all, we just missed sitters from 6 yards out. That's down to our shooting.

Yeah I saw them play against Wednesday and us - thought they were very average - some of Leeds’ play is very exciting and dynamic just no end product - I think if we keep playing like that we’ll go up in autos - but just think, worst case scenario is playoffs....I think we’d have all snatched at that before the season.

Don’t take this wrong pal, but I hate when people say that.

Just because at a certain point in time, we’d take a certain situation doesn’t mean we should be happy if we get that.

Before Saturday would anyone be happy if we just got the play offs ???

I see your point LIW but we have to face the harsh reality we may not go up auto - I think we will but if we don’t, we still have a chance

Sheff Utd defended no better than Bolton did against us. 10 men behind the ball and it was all last ditch stuff

They weren't garbage, but they didn't play well either. We are clearly the best side in the league, we pummel everyone possession wise and chances wise, but we not the most efficient side in the league as Norwich are top despite being inferior to us in most areas.

The blunts have played plenty of decent football this season but he picked Basham over Duffy, which signalled the game plan. They came with a plan to frustrate and nick one on the break. In the end that’s what they did... but by their own admission they rode their luck to do it.

Norwich have well and truly ridden their luck this season. Both them and Sheff u have proven a knack of scoring goals when they get their chances. As Shaun says, in my view we’re a better side than both... though there is an argument that better sides take their chances and make fewer mistakes... so maybe we’re not.

I don't feel to bed either.

We are playing really well.

Just lacking a number 10 and someone to challenge Klich.

So much going for us

Agree LIW. Feel same.

Much better comments on here.

Third in the league came to us and set up like a relegation battler. Says so much about how good we are.

Sheff Utd came with a plan to keep men behind the ball and hope for a mistake. It worked this time but repeat that game another 5 times and we win them all.

Sheff Utd thought that was still their best chance.

Norwich Sheff Utd and Leeds are all capable of going 4 games without a win.

Would be much happier had we won. And much more confident. But we win 6 games and I would be shocked if it wasn’t enough

To be honest, you could argue with what wilder has done with that set of players, he’s done just has good has beilsa

The table doesn't lie, and at present Sheff U better than us in terms of points and goal difference.

People can say Sheff U ain't that good as much as they like, but reality is we were lucky to beat them at their place and their game plan worked to beat us at our place and right now their form is better than ours.

We have a job on our hands.

I personally think we'll do it, but we clearly aren't the best team in this league as many keep saying. We've done really well, with a very average bunch of players, but we're a bit of quality short of being the top team in division.

Nothing wrong with that, not the player's fault, not Bielsa's fault, he;'s worked wonders, the players are giving it all they can, no complaints regarding effort or team spirit.

One wonders what might have been had we not brought in Baker, Blackman, Brown and Harrison, but brought in players who had more of an impact.

What might have happened had we signed James, or a decent alternative in January.

What might have happened if we'd have been able to hang onto a happier Saiz or at least replace him.

Big task ahead, but I wouldn't want anyone other than Bielsa in charge right now.

Wilder’s done a brilliant job... he’s a bit more flexible than bielsa - They bought Madine so they can go route 1, but they play a passing game too. Only side to have more possession than us when we played them at bramhall lane. I’ve been impressed with them all season, though less so in the last few games.

Definitely argue Wilder has done as good a job as Bielsa. Think he deserves to win promotion....via the play-offs.

That’s not very sporting faith. I’m happy for them to go up in second behind us.

Agree with the above comments. I too will be supporting Sheff U in the play-offs. Nice club decent fans.

Talking of their fans, a couple of them were in the Leeds crowd a few seats away from me on Saturday (east upper)and jumped up and down when they scored - credit to Leeds fans that we all kept our patience. A few verbals thrown at them that’s it

All the comments on other teams and players puzzle me. You cant base judgement on a side or player having watched them once or twice. Sheff Utd and Norwich are where they are because they have been quality for much of the season.

End of the day whoever finishes top 2 deserves to go up. You dont luck yourself into those positions.

I would like Sheff United to go up with us. Whichever way round that comes. Always good to see more Yorkshire clubs in the top flight imo. Too many soft southern clubs up there.

Luck balances itself out. We won by a mistake at Bramall Lane, they won by a mistake at our place. Call it what you like, but with one point between us, there is plenty to play for. Bristol City are up next for the Blades and they are a better away side than a home side. We've got Milwall who will be lumping it for their lives. Norwich were lucky at Rotherham. We've got Roofe on the way back. Most importantly, we've got Bielsa. The top two are by no means decided.

The table doesn’t lie but it doesn’t always tell the whole truth. This one is avoiding eye contact in my view. Luck doesn’t always balance itself out. Personally I feel we’re a few points down on where we deserve to be, Norwich are a few points up and Sheff Utd probably about right. Based on games I’ve seen and match reports I’ve read all season.

You can say that ultimately winning when not playing well is the sign of a good side... it is to some degree, it usually means you always carry a threat. Norwich have enough creative flair and good finishing to have used some get out of jail free cards. But they have ridden their luck in my view. I don’t mean last minute winners... we’ve had a few of them, I mean games where they haven’t been the better side and the opposition miss chances.

Just my opinion. Some of it is efficiency, some of it is a bit of good fortune. They say you make your own luck, it’s a nice cliche but sport is fine margins, and often the side that gets promoted is the one that had their deflections go in rather than round the post. If their 3 deflections against us hadn’t led to goals we’d have taken an undeserved win and be top. Would the table be lying then? Fine margins.

I can bemoan that the gods haven’t shone on us, but if we’d been just a little more composed in front of goal all this would be academic. We haven’t been. Ultimately good, bad, lucky, unlucky? All that matters is the table says they have 5 more points than us

People saying the table doesn't lie and than the teams up top shouldn't be where they are, that seems a bit odd, teams are where they are because they've earned their place, if we don't score enough or don't stop them scoring then we deserve to be where we are, and that at this moment in time puts us in third place!..

There is nothing in the run in that says things won't change, but its up to us to take the rest off this div on and hope at least one of the top two slip up and let us in, if anyone its us punching above our weight, because when you think about it, this team is more or less the same one that had its ass well and truly kicked last season, the coaching staff has made the difference this season and its now up to the players to put a little more graft in and pay back what they've been given, and that's a chance of a Premier pay out if they're good enough to take it on!..

It don't matter how good anyone plays if they're in a false position, like people say, the table doesn't lie!..
