Ole in.

Don't think any other manager could have handled this injury crisis as he did. Not with the squad we have.

ok, I'll re-phrase that, it will be interesting to see if they will back Ole as perhaps they would have done for a 'bigger name', established manager. An awful lot of money has been wasted by previous managers on dross, but reality is, there is still a major rebuild required of this squad. Are we confident he will be appropriately backed?

I share your fear with that. Our player recruitment hasn’t been good enough. Though I’d argue that a lot of the failures from the attacking players have been down to the managers. But then here lies to issue of not providing the manager with the players that best suit how their team plays.

I do think some form of Director of Football would be a positive step forward - our recruitment has seemed to be a scatter-gun approach. I think United need to go back to the policy of buying up and coming, hungry young players as opposed to established 'super stars'.

I still want him in. I also do think it would be daft of us to completely rule out Poch. Banter aside, he is a fantastic manager and a better manager than Ole in the premier league no doubt about that. If Poch is interested, I see no reason why we should not sit down and listen to what he has to say/plans.

I wouldn’t say that’s something we’ve stopped doing. We bought Depay, Martial, Lindelof, Bailly, Shaw and Dalot based on their potential. You can even argue that was the case with Pogba, who was 23 when we signed him. Lukaku was 24, which is still young for a striker.

It hasn’t worked out well on the pitch for a number of reasons. But I wouldn’t say we’ve disregarded signing younger players with the potential and room to grow at the club.

I actually think we could do with a superstar attacker that can take some of goal scoring and creative burden off of the likes of Pogba, Rashford, Martial, Lingard and Lukaku. Right now if these players aren’t firing, and they have issues with consistency and mentality, we look pretty blunt in attack.

This is if we are wanting to compete for the biggest prizes next season. If, however, we are looking for a season of consolidation and progress with a view to competing in a few seasons then the transfer strategy could probably be a little different.

Problem is how long do players like Pogba and De Gea want to stick around if we go down that road? This is a bit of a problem for the club right now.

Apparently Real might be back in for DDG this summer as Courtois has been shocking

interesting to see who he'll ship out and who he would buy.

I'm all in. Ole for the Job. However,.. if we ended up with Poch, its not the worst thing in the world, but i want Ole.

We've been decimated to a bare bones squad and still got plenty of results. I don't see laziness. More like fatigue.

Ole is not perfect and he will learn on the job here... But I don't see anyone massively better equipped, and even if there was some magical contender... It's still a gamble in our current state.

Pretty much how I see it. Absolutely no guarantee that Pochettino would be any better. Solskjaer is young enough to learn (so perhaps not as stubborn as his predecessors) and already established at the club. He deserves a chance and it makes sense to give him one.

Hopefully, until we see a change in the executive management of footballing matters at the club, he is backed by virtue of the board actually listening to his advice.

Money hasn't really been a problem. How it has been spent is.

Pretty much decided for weeks I say that OGS is getting the job. Ed Woodward and Man Utd would look really stupid if they got rid of Mourinho who had a shocking record with same players to not get a manager who lives and breathes Man Utd who makes Mourinho record at Man Utd look embarrassing.

So Poch reckons Barca are favourites... 🧐
And there i was leaning towards Porto.

But seriously, if ever someone deserved a stone cold stunner for stating the bleeding obvious!!
Shut up, and work on your plan to beat City.
Cos i think Spurs will pull off a shock win!
