Taking the game to Burnley

We play two league games in the week leading up to the semi final. I am sure Nuno will want to send out his strongest team in the semi. So wouldn't be surprised if he tinkered with the team in the games away at Burnley and at home to Man Utd to keep the players fresh and to reduce the risk of injuries to key players.

I would be OK with Nuno doing the same against Burnley as per Cardiff Amiga, but I don't think that team would do a schooling of man u as in the FA Cup match.

No wouldn't play it against the better teams Ohso, just those with less attacking threat. basically just the lower teams.

That 1-0 win at our place was one of the most one sided one nils I've ever seen, we battered them for 90 minutes but Joe Hart pulled off some amazing saves to keep it respectable. Both sides have improved so it will be a very interesting game. I would definitely make changes for Burnley, Vinagre and Traore definitely deserve starts after their Cardiff performances and probably Cav. Would also like to see Ennis get more time too. He looks like he's ready.

Was gonna say what Goldi said above, that 1-0 was a mauling to be honest.

Often times mid table clubs end up suffering slumps when cup semis are on the table and beyond that possible finals and with our small squad it wouldn't surprise me at all if the same happens to us.

It would be a shame to squander a great league position but we have to go all in now a cup final is at stake so it is what it is and surely changes will be made with the cup semi in mind.

I disagree, We could lose one or both of the league games between now and the semi final if we rotate, then lose the semi final and finish below Watford in the league.

I think we should be approaching these league games as we would any other and take each game as it comes. That said, after their performance against Cardiff, I wouldn't mind seeing Traore and Vinagre start against any team likely to sit back.

That match was the worst performance I have ever seen from an opposition team with my own eyes.

Bonatini could have had a hat trick but of course failed miserably.

I figured it would a tough game and wouldn't have been surprised if we only got a draw. But that!!!!!!

Wolfie's back after a couple of day in hospital with a-fib.

With the semi's coming up it would be wise to play the likes of Vinagre and Traore for this game. What we don't want, are injuries to key players. The other issue is whether players will under perform with the prospect of a possible FA Cup final.

What happened Wolfie? You on the mend now?

Yeah, heart rate went berserk. On more meds now.

What have they done now? I'm in Budapest for a few days so out of touch with the football. Need to check the BBC site. My guess is McLeish humiliation?

Oh my. Just looked... ๐Ÿ˜‚

You would think we were playing Barcelona if you see the first two goals and the defence(lack of) splitting passes.

Watching Portugal v Ukraine, Neves playing very deep, Moutinho more advanced. Jota on the bench.

Good to see another Wolves player starting today.

Matt Doherty starts against Gibraltar and guess where the manager is playing him...left sided midfield

posted on 23/3/19

Do you know your left from your right wolfie?

posted on 23/3/19

Haha, good old Mick. If he can find a square peg for a round hole he will. Is Wardy playing too?

Doherty playing on the right. Wolfie talking rubbish again.
