Your favourite ever manager couldn't even get a tune out of him one of the seasons, which in turn led to his sacking.

Hazard partly to blame for Mourinho getting sacked.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can’t really blame him for being injured and played by the manager though. Best player in the league last 5 years regardless

Team game so very hard to answer.

Also just hard to choose!
Ronaldo
Suarez
Salah

Without bias I honestly cannot pick between these 3.
I’d go for that boy Ronaldo if pushed, it was just as impressive as the other two but with the added bonus of winning so much that season which is maybe unfair on the other two but they were hardly surrounded by pub team players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah using team achievements when talking about an individual isn't how it works. The article asks for the best individual season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who says I was talking about team achievements mate?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You gave him a bonus for his team winning so much.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry badly written, I meant his individual awards which of course your team helps with. I didn’t mean Prem & CL.

What was your vote? Was it between Suarez & Salah?

As I said originally I can’t really pick between those 3 but if I had to I’d go Ronaldo
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah.

My vote is Suarez. Salah scored a load of goals but he didn't do what Suarez did. The way Suarez fought for every ball, pressed, ran himself into the ground and chased every lost cause, as well as the goals and assists was unbelievable.

This was the season after he wanted to go to Arsenal too. Many players stop giving their all after that but the very best can't, they have to be the best and to win no matter what, which of course Suarez let show in more sinister ways also.

Henry's season and Ronaldo's are up there for me also. I wouldn't put Cantona up there as I believe he was the glue, the final piece in the jigsaw which made the team work but not individually one of the best seasons.

Toor, I’ve gotta agree. There’s more to footy than just goals. It’s why I prefer Messi over Ronaldo but that’s another matter. Suarez was unbelievable that year. A more talented Diego costa. Tenacious, technical, brought others into play and turned up in important moments

Highly debatable.

Well statistically speaking. He’s won 2 league titles, Fa cup(being motm in the semi and final) league cup, a poty and runner up, and second best player at the World Cup. I don’t think anyone bar Kante is near to that over the last 5 years.

Hazard is everything to chelsea. Our whole attack relies on him, whether as spurs for example have Kane, son, eriksen, alli and others (Lucas, sissoko).

We rely on hazard every time we play.

People get too fixated by what player's have won and use it to argue how good they've been. They don't win these things on their own you know. Kane and Aguero can definitely be seen as being as good if not better over the last 5 years on the whole.

I agree wholeheartedlg with u. Same when it comes to stats. Hazard though has been the closest thing to single handedly affecting football matches and winning trophies for us that I’ve seen though. A level below Messi and Ronaldo but in a similar vain. We rely on him for everything. So when he might not be directly scoring or assisting he is still the key player in the match.

You can’t have aguero or Kane in there though, both been in better teams yet won less.
Kante is the only arguable challenge to him in terms of effectiveness.

Spurs and city’s teams are much better than Chelsea and Leicester

Tottenham are much better than Chelsea! I mean Tottenham have great players like Sissoko, Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier! Saint Hazard has to play alongside Garbage like N'golo Kante, Pedro, Gonzalo Higuain.

Chelsea would be in the conference if it wasn't for Saint Hazard's benevolence and might! Stop Doubting Saint Hazard! It's disrespectful and deeply offensive to his believers such as myself and Nicololopopolopolopolopolololopolopolis

How dare you. Comparing saint Hazard to trash like Ronaldo and Messi? You dissapoint me.

Kane in a much better team? Well as far as squads go I'm not sure. Possibly this season but not the last 5 years.

It's not Kane's fault we haven't won anything anyway, just like it wasn't Suarez's fault he didn't win anything, or Salah last season. If anything Liverpool look more likely of winning a title this season and Salah hasn't been nearly as good. Shows you people attribute success too much to individuals.

Weren't like 8 of those goals penalties?

Maybe spurtle but we’ve had similar quality teams over the last 5 years. But yeah normally a team is a main part of winning a title (our win under Conte most notably) but Jose’s last title with us was all down to hazard, second half of the season he pulled us through every week. I don’t know a team in the pl that relies on any one player as much as we rely on hazard.
Maybe Newcastle when they had shearer
