W4 D3 L5 as it stands. 33% win rate. 57.5 points over a year, with our best team in years, not allowed to play football.

Play-off hopes are over.

Pretty much the same side as AK had and we’re playing Hoof ball.

Had an old dear on FB arguing with me that unless we are bottom at Xmas we should stick with MON and Keane. That’s the problem.

How are we winning?

Funny old game football is

Annoyingly everyone else won but it keeps our very faint playoffs hopes still alive...... Just.

Never in doubt.

In MON we trust...

Terrible performance but a good win. We stay in the hunt but on that showing we won’t stay there long. Can’t understand why Yacob doesn’t get more game time, especially when we’ve struggled to keep the call last 3 games.

Wednesday and Preston didn’t win and maybe Boro will lose.

Big win for Bristol City as they have two games in hand and could get themselves right in the mix

I think Boro will drop put but with derby having a really easy run in and villa winning every game atm it is faint hope still.

Can't drop anymore points though as all the teams around us have games in hand.

That was excruciating. Forest, particularly Grabban, looked so half hearted for a lot of that match. Took some old fashioned centre forward play from Murphy to get the blood flowing. Two quality deliveries from Lolley for the goals which were well taken. If Swansea had been less obsessed with passing Forest to death and actually having a shot they would have won with ease.

Forest got massively out of jail. I don’t think they’ll manage to go another seven games and grab enough points performing like that.

Need to win probably five out of the next seven to stand a chance.

So don't get your hopes up.

Not gonna happen but hopefully Grabban will get some form back. We’ve lost something in midfield since MON took over. But we’ve gained a threat from set pieces!

Whenever Grabban received the ball there was not another Red shirt within twenty yards. I thought Martin wanted to give it a good go.

I thought Pele made a big difference - whenever he had the ball he moved it forward. Well mostly he did.

Colback is now one booking from a 3 match ban, surely we must give Yacob some game time, as he will probably have to fill in anyway.
Swansea were much the better footballing team, but for some reason always wanted an extra 5 or 6 touches, they should probably have had 3 goals. For 80 minutes we were absolutely awful, but some how managed a win, doubt that would happened under Aitor. Not sure we can take much more out of this game than it proved we at last have a bit of character and fight. I suppose we carry on scrapping and see what happens.

Agree about Yacob, Dave. But don't think he should be starting just yet. Grabban and Cash tired today on their comebacks after long layoffs. Would be better to give him twenty minutes off the bench. I would start Pele and perhaps Carvalho next week. Watson's game has dipped to where it was under AK. Yates also looks like he needs a rest.
