yeah I think that too, would prefer utd for reasons we have discussed previously.
I have a funny feeling english clubs could win both european trophies this year so one club could be left gutted finishing 4th

Difficult to predict tbh, could be another twist today and then midweek.

Think we'll win EL though.

Spurs and united

I'd be very worried if I were Spurs fan. They were good 2nd half yesterday, but their recent form has been terrible. We look a bit shattered to be honest, we haven't looked comfortable in a game for a while. In desperate need of signings in the summer.
Chelsea look patchy and a bit like ourselves scraping through a few games. Huge slice of luck for them yesterday.
Arsenal at the moment look the best bet for 3rd. But it's so close one result can change it all

Spurs and United

Not very hopeful Chelsea will finish top 4 tbh. But, still slightly hopeful about EL.

Imo Spurs and Utd are still favourites to finish in the top 4

Question for rival fans - if Emery gets us in the top 4 in his first season, would you think he’s surpassed expectations or would you think he’s done what is the minimum expected of him?

Surpassed expectations I would say.

Spurs and Arsenal for me. Chelsea and United have more difficult fixtures and have to play each other. I also think Arsenal will go out of Europa against Napoli, whilst Chelsea will progress.

Would say he's surpassed too. Especialy after that poor run where you looked miles off a top 4 spot.

Been a mad season for you Chelsea and united really. I hope you get it anyway like Emry and think he's signed well and is starting to build a good side.

Surpassed expectations for me, I'm a fan of Emery. I believe he's done well, he needs a couple more transfer windows to get the players he wants.

4th will get you a CL place unless English clubs win the CL and EL AND both finish outside the top 4. I think that's pretty unlikely.

As for who will finish in the top 4 is too close to call IMO. On paper Arsenal have the 'easier' games but they could just as easily lose all their away games too. United do look a little jaded at the moment and the game at Wolves tomorrow is massive. If we win that I think we'll have given ourselves a great chance.

Arsenal's away form is their Achilles heel, if they could sort that out then top 4 is theirs.

Tough to call but I think spurs and United.

People say Arsenal have an easier run in but I actually think it's really tough. Of 8 remaining games, 5 are away against Watford, Wolves, Leicester, Everton and Burnley. None of those are easy grounds to go to.

Spurs and Arsenal are the favourites imo. I expect Arsenal to be able to get through their 'tricky' away games as they have so much more to play for than these midtable teams.

We are playing better and should be winning our home games.

I expect 76 points will be enough as all four teams are capable of dropping plenty more points.

United 3rd and win the CL. Spurs 4th with Chelsea winning the EL meaning Spurs don't get CL. This triggers Kane's move to the European Champions.

The race for the top 4 will hopefully help us - Spurs and Utd should hopefully give there all against City
