I like Lenny but we've been there and done it, I don't think he has the clout to get the board to spend big so I'd prefer a bigger name.
It's also been a concern that we seem to only just be scraping by most teams since he's came in.
Last night was only the 2nd time we've won by more than 1 goal under Lennon as well.
Not good for the old ticker.
At least lennon has already said we need to do a fair bit of rebuilding to the squad in the summer
There's no way Rangers are changing their manager unless Gerrard walks away.
Which he might.
He looked very frustrated last night but he's obviously fully aware he's one defeat away from everyone wanting him thrown off a cliff.
Whilst it's not been silky under him, he's won 5 from 6, games that included an OF game, Hearts away and Hibs away.
He's came in and done us a favour as well as giving himself one.
Gerrard on Ryan Kent appeal:
“We don’t think it was violent conduct and we don’t think it was in the face”.
“It’s always easy in hindsight to look at pictures that look worse than they are”.
”Ryan was just pushing him away to get him out of his face after being provoked”.

Gerrard will only walk if he gets put out of Europe early doors and the cash runs dry.
Gerrard won't be at ibrox next season. He'll go in the summer.
It's pretty clear from his body language and some of his statements that he's away.
Like with Kamara....'rangers have got themselves a very good player for the future there. Not 'we' or 'ourselves' but 'themselves'. Stuff like that. He's gone.

I've made my feelings on Gerrard known on here, and since I'm stuck in my ways I doubt there's anything that can be done to change them.
However, sadly, we're going to have him in the dugout next season, only this time around we'll be stuck with scheidt like Stewart and Jones in the side.

see if liverpool win their first league when gerrards not at the club that will be brilliant
Lennon would have been right on the pitch post match SUnday in about it if he had the job full time Knows he canny though and knows he needs to reign it in on touchline before the end of the season as he tries everything to get the job!
I don't want him to get it but it's a cert he will. I will say though, there's not many we could attract that would be an upgrade on him so if it's not then i'd rather stick with him than go with a Moyes or Clarke type.

when he had a good team he played some good stuff, but it got stale in the end
see if he is backed the same way rodgers was it might be interesting.
We're going for 9 in a row, the pressure will be right on whoever gets it.
If we win this one then next season I'm not missing one single game
The thought of Lennon being the one to potentially lead us to 10 in a row is pretty good though

Seriously? he actually walks up to Brown and does it! pretty much kept out these shenanigans after the game but he has to be deluded if he HONESTLY thinks thats what happened? unless it is simply the clubs official line for the appeal, that I would understand.
