Ronnie for a 6th ! He'll be the number 2 seed, behind the defending World Champ... he could face , Lisowski in round 2, Robertson/ Trump in the Quarters, Selby in the semi's, could e very tough...

I still think there are a lot of exciting players to be honest. There are the likes of Lisowski, Brecel. Snooker has a bright future ahead. I'm hoping this can be Judds year. Although 1st round exit in China Open is worrying.

Nah, Judd will go close, hope Selby is out as quick as last year

Jack Lisowski will win China Open hopefully

Robertson vs Lisowski final. Judd Trump will move down to 7th in the rankings what ever happens 7th is a false position for him really. Neil can go up to 4th if he wins. Hoping Jack can clinch his 1st ranking title.

Hope Lisowski wins, but he seems a bottler to me, the first title might be the making of him, I have no problem with Robertson, a great player, bet he's glad he's not playing Ronnie this time.. World championship will see 2 v 7 in the QF... Ronnie v Judd... Oh no...

Robbo cruising it, been in really good form lately the last few months, back to his best

Will this take a lot out of him tho for the WC, that's always my fear with China, guess it never done Selby any harm though

The bottom half at the worlds looks very tough, Ronnie, Selby, Trump...

Neil Robertson won 11-4

I fancy Trump to win in Sheffield

Ronnie... 👍

Praying Judd wins it, I'm hoping both Ronnie and Selby get knocked out 1st round or last 16 then it will be a good championship just like last year

Ronnie is probably my favourite player, he makes the game look so easy and is entertaining to watch, so I will be supporting The Rocket. I`m also a fan of Trump and he would be my tip this year.

Could be some first round slips, with Day, Carter, Dott, & Perry just outside the top 16...

Trump should win it really but I don’t think he will

Tough quarter for Ronnie, Maguire, Ding & Trump, possible Trump v Ding in round 2... Ouch..

Would anyone put Mark Selby in a list of 10 greatest snooker players of all time?

Arsenal, yes I would, I don't like the guy or how he plays, but he's beaten Ronnie, Ding & Higgins in his world finals, his battling qualities are second to none, one of the toughest ever players IMO, he's off the boil, will he get IT back? He's 36 in June, is he past it?

In terms of the players I've seen, I would put Selby 9th or 10th.

I'm not even counting Reardon, Joe Davis etc. who I didn't see. Note: I saw a bit of Reardon but only when he was really old.

But obviously he is not finished yet.

I agree, it's a great feat, however Ronnie was not playing well at all in 2014, he was really struggling Vs Perry, then Murphy and Hawkins played terrible in the next couple of games.

Beating Ding was obviously good

As for Higgins, he got a pretty easy draw to that final, it might look better on paper now, but Kyren and Allen were really low on confidence then.

Maybe I'm being harsh, but I feel in any other decade, Selby would not win 3 World Titles.

Don't really feel the Higgins, Williams or Ronnie have been at their best at the Crucible this decade. Maye Ronnie in 2012, but I think these guys have won this decade more due to the fact that they are good under pressure.

I'd have Selby in the top 10. Not a fan of him but he's still achieved a lot in the game and can find a way to win. He's struggled this season though so we shall see what happens.
