4 away of your last 6. Only PL team without a clean sheet away from home. Even Cardiff, Fulham and Huddersfield have managed at least one.

I agree. You'll come either 5th or 6th.

6th and a Europa Cup.

Not a bad way to end a campaign.

It's simple Emery has to figure out quickly how to get the results away from home. The lack of consistency is frustrating just look at the last game away we were defensively solid and looked dangerous. Then they go and put that level of performance in, it's not good enough. The starting line up didnt help at all but certain players are just not putting in a consistent level of performance over a number of games.

I just don’t understand the players mentality. Anyone would think we were 15 points off top 4 with the way we performed today.

I called it beginning of the season we are a 6th place club now.

With the fixtures United and Chelsea have along with the GD advantage, winning 2 of your 4 away games will probably be enough.

That's more than doable

It’s got to be something mentally that’s ingrained in the team. We just completely lack desire to win away. The teams we play don’t even really have to play well to get a result. We lose all fight and determination to go for a win away. It’s like we’re 2 different teams. Against Newcastle Monday our passing was so much faster, we were running more and battling more. Next game we go away and do none of those things. Everything we did lacked conviction, no one wanted to take initiative or make runs .

The players obviously have it in them to play better, but for whatever reason they turn up looking like they just want to get out of there quick as possible. It’s been like this for ages, to properly sort it we probably need to replace a few of the players.

We’re still in a good position and could easily get 4th, but it would require us to have a complete change of mentality when we’re playing away. In the time we have it’s unlikely we’ll see that change fast enough. I think we’ll be relying on teams around us to have an inconsistent end to the season to get top 4

Is it even a formality that Arsenal win both remaining home games? Their home form is the only reason they are where they are but slip ups can happen. Palace could get something there.

I dont see us winning any of the 4 away games.
I dont see Spurs United Chelsea dropping any more silly point

Yeah, there's little chance of Palace getting anything there and Brightons chances are worse than nil.

You will beat Burnley who will have nothing to play for by then.

The other 3 are tough but you should win at least one of them.

To be honest Arsenal are as bad at home most of the time but they got some lucky magic at home were they can play poor and win most of the time. Arsenal massively regressed this season but because like Burnley last season and even Man Utd last season flunking undeserved wins for a lot of the season has papered over the cracks.

It's amazing how Arsenal got so many points as they are creating significantly less and allowing significantly more chances than last season. Probably the biggest difference between 2 seasons but Arsenal are riding high. Shows you it's better to be lucky than good. Man Utd are significantly better this season than last season but struggling for top 4.

Stop talking nonsense we are one point behind City in points at home, no one else can match that form.

I reckon you're favourites for the Europa. If it does come to an Arsenal Chelsea final I think you would beat them, and you've only got to look at Emery's record in that competition across the last decade to not think that.

We have a more difficult way to get a final in the EL. But EL is the only way to get CL footy.

Yeah Arsenal been winning at home despite the opposition outplaying them many times. 83 shots on target 39 goals scored at home. Must be arsenal fewest shots on target at home in PL history but most clinical season at home.

Emery's record in Europe is countered by the fact we have much higher European pedigree than Arsenal.

I think Arsenal will need a 2 goal win at home to Napoli to stand a chance because they will collapse at the San Paulo.

Realistically at best we’ll probably lose and draw in 2 of our away game left. Likely to draw against Watford and lose to wolves, then win 2 at home and beat Burnley. I think we’ll be relying on others to slip to sneak in. It’s not beyond possibility if we only drop 4 points. Some Teams around us have to play each other, then we’d need one other team to feck up against someone un expected. It’s unlikely scenario but I think it’ll take something like that for us to get 4th. No one else is consistent so it gives some hope.

Unfortunately today’s crap performance puts more pressure on us to beat Napoli. Those games could quickly become our best hope of CL. We can’t feck up on Thursday

We've somehow managed to banter our way into a place in the quarterfinals , we might as well run with the joke all the way to the Cup in Azerbaijan.
