Also watched Ajax last night and they are very impressive indeed.
Excellent to see Ajax becoming one of the better sides in Europe. Would be great if they didn't have all their player pinched fater bringing them through their system. Although I spose that's possibly what keeps them where they are. If we can't win the CL, then for Ajax to od it would be amazing.
Lovely side. De Ligt, De Jong & Ziyech are the standout players but the supporting cast all play their role very well.
Imagine if they still had Kluivert.
if you believe the media, the majority of the team are moving on next season, lets hope a few come to Spurs
DeJong has the ability to be a superstar @ Barca next year
Obviously we still have a massive job to do to get past City (and the pessimist in me still thinks City will go through) but I would absolutely LOVE a CL semi final against this Ajax side, what a tie that would be.

I really wish I had watched the Ajax game. Instead I watched a turgid ManU game without a single shot on target and a well under par Barca pass the ball around without any intent whatsoever. I couldn't take my eyes off it sure that something, anything, would happen. That's 90 minutes I'll never get back...
The Ajax academy and scouting system must be absolute top class, as they regularly produce and unearth top class talent. I'd love Spurs to be on their level in this regard.
don't think I have met a spurs fan who doesn't like Ajax.
so much to admire about them as a football club, and the quality of footballer they produce. You know that anyone who comes through the Ajax academy is a good technical footballer
The best way I could sum up Ajax football is that they always go for the pass you want to see watching it on tv. Such a positive side with talent flooded all over the park. Wouldn't mind Zayich or Neres at Spurs
There has been strong links between Ajax and Spurs since the 70’s, mainly due to a mutual hatred of Feyenord and the fact there is a large Jewish following of both clubs
Shame the other clubs are circling sandy and that includes us who have pinched some of their players down the years. Be nice to see a club like Ajax dominate and keep all their talent, but we all know money bags like City, Chelsea, Barca etc can’t accelt that and will poach anything that moves

To true Don. I still think they should bring in a Transfer ceiling, where all clubs are only allowed to spend so much every calendar year. It would stop all the lottery clubs, or clubs with all the money from hoovering up all the talent from clubs that are trying to progress and catch up. I hate the way that Man City and PSG have been elevated right to the top of the tree, just because they came into lots of money.

That's restraint of trade, so wont ever be allowed. Financial fair play, if enforced correctly, is the closest you would get

Yep, quality side. I watched them to, but at same time you would class us as favourites if we were to get through tonight.
