Bright Enobakhare featured in Coventry’s amazing 5-4 win at Sunderland on Saturday. He scored the first goal and reports have him down as by far the best player on the pitch
Hopefully whichever club actually finishes seventh doesn't emulate Burnley's massive progress this season.

A classic example of a club not prepared for European football getting thrown in at the deep end.
Anyone who thinks that a team that gets turned over twice by Huddersfield is ready for Europa League needs to give their head a wobble.

Anyone comparing us to Burnley doesn't understand football
Barcelona only drew with bottom of the table Huesca yesterday having recently lost the Spanish cup final to Girona and only drawn with 18th placed Villarreal. Anyone who thinks Barcelona are good enough to play in Europe knows nothing about football
The reality is that losing to Huddersfield and Cardiff doesn’t prove we are a poor team. Neither does beating Liverpool, Spurs, Man Utd and Chelsea price we are one of the best teams in the country. We are 8th in the league and that’s how good we are regardless of who we beat and who beat us. If we finish 7th it will be because we deserve to and if that gets us into Europe that’s great by me. Saw some fantastic UEFA cup games at Molineux in the 70s and 80s and can’t wait to see more. If we can get that next season it will be a great achievement and something to look forward to
Well it's lovely to see that Spangles and Cinci finally agree about something.
They both agree that I know nothing about football.
thanks for that, 'll just shut the feck up from now on and just agree with all you experts
Ruben Neves had a pretty ineffective game yesterday. Maybe he had things on his mind. Just tweeted a picture of himself in a hospital in Porto with his wife and new child born yesterday

Yes I saw some of those games too but we didn't have a squad of 18+ some kids then. FFP will prevent us from putting together a squad that is capable of competing in the Europa League.
Remember that word - compete. It is one of our manager's favourite words and he is insistent that regardless of results we compete.

Yes I saw that on Twitter. Nice photo. 🦋
Anyone that thinks finishing seventh means massive progress is to follow just isn't paying attention.
You think? I think for a club in our position that has money to spend and is looking to attract the next level of talent then Europe is a massive incentive.
Compare that to Burnley who are not in any world ever going to compete with us in attracting that talent, europe or not.
Don’t accept that argument at all Gem. Just because we probably won’t win the Europa league doesn’t mean we shouldn’t go in it and have some enjoyable games on the way. In the early rounds we will probably play minnows from east Europe or Scandinavia then we will get into a mini league where we will have at least a couple of games against quality opposition. Most of the teams we will meet up to the final stages could only dream of having players of the quality of Neves, Moutinho, Jonny, Jota, Jiminez and Patricio. Of course we can compete
Yes Cinci I understand your argument in comparing us with Burnley. There is, I agree, no comparison when it comes to financial backing.
My concern is that FFP rules will simply prevent us from assembling a squad that can cope with domestic and European competitions.
We would be starting on the back foot because of Nuno's policy of keeping the squad size to the bare minimum. If we cannot assemble a squad of quality players which is large enough to cope with both competitions, I would rather concentrate on progressing in the Premier League.
I think European competition would open us up to having a more substantial squad though Gem and would generate finances and presumably allow a wee bit more spend than say finishing tenth.
Also think Europe gives pre season an extra edge as well with some competitive games instead of these random friendlies.
It could go to shat of course and we get dumped out by a side better prepared early season.
As for Burnley though, you only have to watch football to know Burnley were not in reality a top seven side and it was just a good season rather than a really good team as they are showing their truer colours this term with the same players basically. Same scenario as Leicester winning the title, great season rather than a great team.
Good to see Harry Burgoyne getting lots of praise from his loan at Falkirk. Played a starring role in their win against Dunfermline on Saturday evidently with a string of fine saves including a penalty
Watford 1 down to Arsenal after 10 mins then 1 minute later have Deeney sent off
What a shame for that loser. The guy is so ugly I think we should buy him a mask
