Cfc....exactly! That time to recover from not only the game but travelling will take its toll.

Cfc will need the win which also plays into our hands. Essentially what I am saying is liverpool have a big advantage going into this game and I expect them to take it.

Yes cfc can win of course they already beat us this season in the cup, but this game is massively different...lfc to win

Whilst I do feel that if Liverpool beat Chelsea on Sunday they will probably go on to win the title, there will still be plenty of chances for Liverpool to drop points elsewhere. Plus, I seriously doubt Pep is the type of manager that worries what other teams are doing.

This

I think GB confudes Pep with bacon chops who obviously scarred the poor kid so many times. Pep tends to worry about himself and his own team. Wherever he has coached he has had the resources to do so hence why he prepares only his team and tends to break league win records because again he only really worries about his games.

This isn't Fergie and mind games. Thats why Fergie could win league titles with 78 points or so because he played the game on the pitch and psychologically.

GB has been trying for weeks to spin some type of narrative that Pep is watching Liverpool's games and worrying. In a way GB is trying to spin some Fergie kind of mind games where there is little to back this up.

I remember a similar narrative being developed when it was in Liverpool's hands and the last difficult game was apparently at home to Chelsea and after Liverpool had beat City at home some felt it was a gimme. There are no gimme's at this stage. Even your match against Huddersfield will be tough. Even Cardiff away will be a nightmare.

This nonsense that we will definitely win all the remaining games is stuff only someone with no experience of a title race can say.

The Newcastle game worries me.

Rafa is great at setting his team up to stifle the opposition. No means a gimme

Well o would guess on this forum at least 80% don't have experience of Liverpool winning the title, so that would make sense. 🙌

Hope Liverpool win tommorow, I desperately need Man City to beat Man U and Spurs in the league, also need them to hammer Spurs in the 2nd leg of Champions league, so have to hope Man City can drop points in a few other games like tomorrow for starters to give you the advantage in the title race

The good thing is they're safe by 10 points now, pretty much out of danger.

Was he going to celebrate the goal . Reacting is not the same as worrying. He can't control the outcome of Liverpool games and he ain't gonna waste energy on things he can't control.

You only need to watch All or Nothing to see how much Pep worries about Liverpool. Panicking about the game with us just before City played Everton . And we weren’t even challenging then.

Let’s be honest, Pep couldn’t have done what Rafa is doing at Newcastle. Stop putting him on a ridiculous pedestal.

I thought he was worried ahead of the first leg of the champions league quarter final.

I cant see why he would have been bothered about the league game unless maybe he wanted to go unbeaten.

Knowing Pep, he probably wanted to.
