There should be no dilemma, always play to win. We threw a game to prevent Ajax from winning the league. Its just dirty. Play to win or do up the club.
Lose to City, win the other 4 games...
Arsenal lose away at Watford and Wolves...
we get top 4
Not bothered what they get up to, rather they didn't win the title but if it means we get top 4 then so be it
Their win today helped us a bit
United always comes first. If stuffing City and getting 3 points means the scousers win the league then so be it.
It makes no difference really. The team will want to win, but we’ll still lose anyway.

I think we realistically need to win all our games to get top 4 mainly due to how jammy Spurs and Arsenal are this season. That Chelsea game will be huge but hopefully by then they will be just focusing on the europa league like us a couple of seasons ago.
No. I want to lose against City now. They will beat us anyway. I don’t care what any Top Red says, I will take a 1-3 loss to City at OT if it meant Liverpool finished 2nd.
Feck City and their false achievements, nobody cares about them because 10 years ago they were losing 8-1 to Middlesborough. Would rather them win all the trophies than Liverpool winning the league.
Liverpool winning the league would be nauseating for football for the next two to three years.

I still can't forget Gerrard sliding the ball into Drogba 9 years ago. But to roll over for City would be shameful as well, and really show how much we've fallen. Hopefully we smash them.
Couldn't care less about anyone else. Beating City helps our chances of CL football, that's all it comes down to.
And if Liverpool don't win the title, City do, and have a better chance at a quadruple. It's a choice between a cat muck or dog muck sandwich.
Surely a potential City quad is a disaster?
Both for the present and the past. It surpasses your greatest achievement.
Those Arsenal and Wolves league defeats are annoying as if we had won them like we completely deserved to we would be pretty much in a great position to get top 4. Likewise at home to Burnley we should easily have won as well. Those 3 games which were some of the best we played under OGS cost us 8 points in games we should have massively got our goal difference up.
I think even if City beat us they'll somehow drop points somewhere else, this season with the scousers is like when Leicester won the league. Every little thing was falling into place for them.
I doubt Man City will win the CL and Watford are turning into form as well and Wigan have upset them in the past 3 times in the fa cup.

City won't win the quad Paisleys. They're not good enough for the CL yet imo.

Anyone that hates another team more than they love their own isn’t a proper fan.
Shame on you.
I'll want United to win like I always do. Seeing us throw a game so Liverpool don't win the title would be much worse than them winning it IMO.
The ideal scenario would be for us to win all five remaining games and Rafa spoiling the Liverpool party.
It'll make little difference what we all want, if we keep performing the way we are, City will wipe the floor with us, even Chelsea looked decent in spells today, far better than us at the moment

I said this on the match thread, we're bang out of form and our players seem like they're in end of season mode.
Martial FC I don't think that is going to happen as this Man City team are a winning machine. Never seen anything like it in PL in terms of not only winning consistently but the way they do it until these last 2 seasons as in how relentless they are.
Jose had a spell with Chelsea in 2004 to 2006 they were PL wise very dominant but the way they played was more a counter attack side with a low block defensive line. This Man City team are more like Barcelona under Guardiola as in suffocate the opposition to lose.

Look at all these Scousers taking the moral high ground
Hilarious, remember Chelsea 2010? Absolutely disgusting surrender from Gerrard and the troops. Get that wet flannel nonsense the feck out of here. I go Pogba does what Gerrard did in 2010.
