To be fair look at who Gerrard had to play alongside compared to Lampard
Lampard....great player, scorer of late important goals and fantastic at arriving at the right time to score a goal...one of the best.
Gerrard....regarded as the best player in the world at his peak by the likes of zidane...mourinho etc. Could grab the game and win it on his own as he has done many times, scorer of great goals and cpt fantastic.
Just be thankful you are alive to have watched both at their peak
I imagine an argument will be made about goals and assists being a more important part of a wingers game then they are for a midfielder, with references to xavi and iniesta

Hazard is a better player than Salah, Salah a better goalscorer. Both very different roles also. Hazard is required to create most of Chelsea's attacks, he is their playmaker, everything goes through him. Firmino is the closest to that role for us.
Gerrard was the better player than Lampard as he could do everything. Lampard the better goalscorer, had the better instinct of getting into the box at the right time but of course he played in better sides.
