The next game is huge.
Is within touching distance but I will not commit just yet, my hope is strong. We are Leeds & know anything can happen.
A lot can change of Easter weekend. We could be top of the league, or third.
If we can get 6 points I think we will make ground on both Norwich and Sheff Utd.
I'm fully expecting us to do it the hard way, lets face it, we always do !! - but I think we'll get there
Not counting any chickens but a whole lot better being 3 points ahead than it could have been.
We have to go all out to blitz Wigan.
I've said for a while that Easter will be the crucial stage of the season.
I'd love us to be more than a win above 3rd (4 points or more) going into the Villa game, knowing that we play a day later than the others. It would really pile the pressure on the chasing pack knowing they have to win, just to force us to get a result against Villa.

The worse thing is the wait till Friday...but having said that, it’s what sport is all about, being unable to wait for the next dose.
A couple of seasons ago we’d be dreading matchday wondering what farce we we’re going to have next, now we look forward to the treat of good football, potential amazing move or teaching back or just something that makes you go wow.
I’m really looking forward to Bielsa letting it all out on promotion, although I suspect even that might be tempered out of respect for opponents.
We all just KNOW that it will come down to goal difference in time added-on at the end of the Ipswich game...

Brentford is the key game. We have to get 3 wins and a draw to guarantee promotion. We should be getting wins against Wigan and Ipswich, just need to get a win and a draw in the other 2, which we certainly can.

Agreed Afridi, they are our Achilles heel. I just get the sense that we have turned a corner, and we are not going to let the past determine what's going to happen in the next few weeks. And it does feel like Sheffield United have given it everything they've got.
Doesn't look like Sheff Utd will have Basham or Sharpe for at least Easter.
Egan out for Forest game too.
That's going to be really tough for them.

dunno how wilder had the audacity to moan about the foul on his player which led to equaliser

Spanish, agree nothing is black and white, and i know it would be difficult where to draw the line.
But that doesn't mean nothing should be done.
I would make it 3 games for preventing a ball going into the goal using your hand (as an outfield player).
Just because that doesn't resolve issues with bringing a player down or handball goals not spotted, doesn't mean you shouldn't bring this rule in.
At least it's closer than we were to fairness

you can;t give a goal because its not been in the net, so a penalty is the only option, with the offending player sent off. maybe then to be reviewed afterwards and punished according to the situation.
but then, lets say its the last game of the season, and it wins promotion .
or saves a team from relegation, there are big big monies at stake for either scenario - which is scary !

even for roofes handball goal, it wasnt absoloutley 100% clear cut that he just intentionally handed it in, in his head maybe he couldnt adjust his body etc maybe it hit his knee then hand and fumbled in
egan 100% no doubt aimed to cheat and fully when out his way to do so
