Although I'm pleased to see Mavrapanos start. Hoping he has a good performance and Emery uses him to replace Mustafi as 3rd choice CB.
4-2-3-1 with Auba not Laca. Playing a more direct, less possession-oriented style by the looks of it
Mustafi at right back just sounds too scary. Really hoping it's a day we go bang bang bang early.

Not a bad team. Mavrapanos is a bit of a risk. Back line looks real suspect though
Mkhi and Iwobi will have to do a lot of tracking back otherwise Mustafi and Monreal are going to get absolutely blitzed all evening.

Completely forgot about jenkinson. Surely he is a better bet at RB
Deeney and Gray may well give our defence a horrid night, but I am 100% more confident with Mavrapanos partnered with Koscielny at the heart of defence than I am with Mustafi there.
Mustafi at RB is ridiculous. Jenkinson probably couldn’t be any worse than him there
Mustafi actually looked ok last time he played RB. Absolutely no attacking threat of course. But defensively he was pretty good. Probably because his diving in style is slightly less of an issue if you’re at RB
Harsh on Jenkinson though. He’s not really done anything wrong when he has been given a chance this season

I'm 90% sure Licht and Emery have had a falling out, but it isn't getting picked up by the media because he's been rubbish for us and hasn't been a first team regular.
No-one's seemed to ask of his whereabouts.

He played very well in a much tougher atmosphere and in a much bigger game against United at OT last season.
But even if he hadn't played for us at all, I would rather have him there than Mustafi, who has shown on countless occasions how unreliable he is.
There's little harm in trying a promising young player there.
With no Sokratis, we have limited options.
It's strange seeing the total lack of width in that lineup. Especially since our attacking play is heavily dependent on our wingbacks bombing forward.
Looks like we will have to walk every single ball through the lumps in the Watford midfield.
