I thought it was a soft red card personally although there’s always going to be a risk when you move your arm into the player. Torreiras lack of height probably worked in our advantage as well.

it didnt look as if he moved his arm towards te player just had it up at his chest height ang caught the little guy, totally accidental ref has ruined what could have been a good game.

hmm so one offside goal can be worse than another but a red card is definately red whatever the case. Bit wishy washy on the rules are Arsenal fans.
What are your thoughts on the linesman fist pumping after he didnt give your offside goal.

IMO Deeney must have felt the contact. He must have known he hit the guy IMO but still played innocent when leaving the pitch.
He didn't say it was an accident, did he? If his argument was that it didn't happen then he has to be lying as he leaves the pitch because a person knows when they've hit someone else in that manner.
