And it’s obvious he didn’t kill our season as we’ve been in the top 4 already and are only 2 points away from it. And we’re in the CL thanks to him

He didn’t kill it because we’ve responded so well, but he put us at a huge disadvantage. We’d be comfortable in the top four had we done the sensible thing and sacked him earlier.

Why was he sacked if he didnt kill your season?
If Mourinho was fecked off after that Newcastle game we could’ve been in a more comfortable position for 3rd spot.
Jose wounded our season but you can’t say he’s killed our season if we could get to top 4 as we have done.
There was even a point when top 4 was in our hands as recently as March. Jose is partly to blame for us maybe not getting top 4 but if these players could get to top 4 like they did then it’s also partly their fault if they drop out and miss out on it.
Jose was complete pony this season Robb there's no two ways about it. The players you have were just better footballers than many teams they played and therefore won some games. Jose had lost it from the end of last season.
Robb you can’t blame the players for missing out now.
In order to be in the hunt you’ve had to keep pace with us, currently first and on course for over 90 points. So if they have a small blip and fall it you can’t say “well they just should have sustained title winning form since November/December”.
That’s completely unsustainable for your squad at present, and totally unreasonable to expect.
I think the players do need to take some responsibility for some of our recent performances, and for many of them under Mourinho. But ultimately Mourinho left us in a position where we’ve needed, and will likely need to maintain, title challenging form under Ole just to get in the top four.
