Robb you can't judge Greenwood against what Owen did in his first 12 months. We have no idea how many games he would even play. It would take a serious injury to rashford for him to play regularly.
I'd also question whether we need a 30 goal a season striker. Lukaku could probably get us that if we set up the right way. But the way we are playing under Ole means that we need players that are interchangeable and that the goals are more likely to be spread out.

Still huge doubts whether he is the long term answer.
---------------------
Yet a kid with 10 minutes action should play against Everton, City and Chelsea?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t know but he literally cannot be any worse
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He literally could be.
He'll hopefully get a few more minutes this season, but I wouldn't say he's ready yet.
A loan next season might do him good. Or he should be competing for a first team spot on the right hand side with Chong.
If we end up spending big money on a right-sided forward, as people are demanding, he has to go out on loan for me, because otherwise he'll be playing U23 football, which won't help him progress.

Amazing isn't it.
Another reason why it is not a good idea for fans to run football clubs.
I sometimes wonder if some of the folk here have jobs. Is this how decisions are made in their organisations?

He couldn't be any worse than a player who has scored against those clubs?
ok
We're having a dip in form, nothing more. Rashford his the crossbar against Barca and people were digging him out. It's getting quite insane.

Who'd have thought SAF leaving would cause actual PTSD symptoms.
Any scousers on hand to let us know if this condition is a modern thing or were their fans like this a few decades ago?

Yeah I know... For Liverpool fans
I wasn’t calling him God per se. More that Liverpool had Fowler, ie ‘God’ so could take the risk of going into a season with just Owen and Riedle as their striking options
As good as Rashford may one day be, it’s too risky to just have him and Greenwood as our striking options. Unless our aims are much lower than usual
