It’s all about the money now, sadly...

Bielsa will not want them

I could potentially see Milner joining you guys if you come up. He might see it as a good way to finish his career, particularly if we win the league or champions league this season.

Milner is still a handy first XI/squad player at Liverpool. I think he has at least one more season at the top.

You never know though. Alan Smith would deffo be up for it, blonde highlights at the ready.

Yea, n let’s bring Yeboah back while we’re at it!

Eddie, I understand you think they are all passé.

But! Some of us don't. Some actually think it would be, not only a possibility, but a great addition to the team, and as Tiddels states: "He might see it as a good way to finish his career."
Would you not be happy, if that was to happen?

God am I a nervous wreck, thinking of friday's match

Love Milner, but wouldn't think he would suit Bielsaball.

Two years ago I would have completely disagreed as he was their version of Alioski (obv higher playing level).

Now I just disagree, as a reference I give you Pablo.

Never been known for his hard work in a game just his skill, yet seeing this veteran great player tear around closing down is unbelievable.

I believe Milner could do it for a year.

Someone like Milner would be a great player to have in our first season back, forget he played for Leeds, but think of the experience & leadership he'd bring.

Milner is the only one I could see at Leeds if we go up because Liverpool may be prepared to let him go at his age and with the options they have (is his contract up?). Of course he would suit Bielsa, massive energy and a good player technically. He is a big Leeds fan too and must feel almost like he never played for us, with just a season I think when he was 16 or 17.

Sort of puts it into perspective though. He left us at the start of his career when he was a kid. Now the time we *might* be back up, he's at the end of his career.

Be very surprised if Milner isn’t here next season.

Disagree about Pablo, worked his balls off, the minute he came.

Only time Pablo has gone AWOL has been back end of seasons when he has been totally knackered due to having to compensate for others.

This season everyone has put a shift in and he's been able to shine for a full season - superb player superb attitude.

Milner would be just about the best signing Leeds could make if they come up IMO.

Hope we dont sign him. We got out of L1 without him and if we got out of the championship without him, we won't need him in the premier league. Should sign younger better players than him.

Totally agree Shaun. Let the dippers keep him, if only to go mental on the touchline when they score. (Like he did against us in the LG Cup). I'd understood he was a Leeds fan, til I saw him practically jerking off 10 yds away from us.

- we do have troubles with our crowds in England

on a serious note Milner is a player we would want back, yes for me.. can play in numerous positions, as a stop gap, and he gives 110% - Bielsa likes these sorts of players.

so its a yes from me

If we go up we'll need a balance of players. A senior, respected professional like Milner, playing regularly for a team vying for both prem title and the champs league, I'd say would be a great signing. Nothing to do with him starting off with Leeds, or any allegiance he may have as a fan. He'd be an asset, in my view, as a player, both on the pitch and around the club.

IF we go up, i'd hope that MB will be given licence to identify who HE thinks is what's needed and it's those players who the club go for.

I'd welcome back Lewis Cook with open arms - tho he'd cost a pretty penny

Lewis Cook was the only other player I could think of this morning on my way to work that i'd add to Milner.

that guy really gets on my nerves, find he's got a droning voice and says the most obvious things "well, they'll look to hit back after conceding that goal", oh really Alan, I thought they'd just accept it and take it like a champ !

what a dork !!
