Yes, it was definitely there! As soon as the fourth went in, I think everyone thought we’d need a fifth and there was still a long way to go.
That and the first half was utterly exhausting!

Personally I think you had Spurs by the knackers and should have kicked on - that sub, for me, was too negative.

They played songs prior to the match to gee up the crowd, much in the same way Liverpool play their song prior to every game.
They definitely did not play crowd noise through the speakers during the match.

I don't think it helped at all to be honest.

I commented on another post how important it was for Spurs/Liverpool/Watford to deny City the quad. If they could achieve that with a squad that missed KDB, Aguero and Fernandinho for large parts of the season then we may as well not turn up next year as they’ll no doubt strengthen in the summer.
Last night would have really dented their spirit and would have sent out a question. “Is this a club to join if I want to win the CL?”

Ultimately, it was poor defending at a dead ball situation that cost us, I can’t remember spurs creating much else in that period. It did hinder us a bit going forward though.

It changed the tone of the game as well though, which I think made the crowd a bit nervy.
Easy to say with hindsight of course, but it did surprise me at the time.
