He's done more than enough in the 2nd half of the season to earn another year.
yep, i would extend and strengthen elsewhere as priority.
with Son and Llorente, without Kane, we have more than enough as shown. Its the midfield leadership/gile and defensive wide areas that need addressing.

I disagree with this. He’s 34 years old and we need to start looking towards the future and get better quality than him imo. If the Sterling goal had stood at the end last night, I guarantee that all and sundry would be asking for a major squad overhaul this summer

What a laugh that was though.
The result was made 10x more enjoyable by seeing City celebrate making the semis that they won't be in.
We can keep him for next season but we need to look for another CF back up option. Preferably someone a lot younger who can possibly play out wide too. And with pace.
Kane's injury set backs have made this extra important, and when we play Ajax in the first leg this will be another occasion this season of playing a huge match without either Son or Kane available.

I know we need to look towards the future but we have other positions that need strengthening first, Llorente would do for another season
Llorente for one more year, slowly introduce Troy Parrot to the squad at the same time - you never know.
Happy for him to have him for another year, but I would like another wing forward/striker who could also deputise Kane.
Llorente is a great option off the bench when we need to go direct. But I wouldn't want him to be starting too many important games.
Whatever happens, he will certainly be remembered fondly for his contributions this season.
