I wouldn’t blame Poch for fielding a weakened side. Deep down, he knows Spurs are likely get battered by City, the laws of averages says so. City handed Spurs the 1st leg win on a plate because of Pep’s arrogance, and Spurs used all their luck up in the 2nd leg.

I know this happens but honestly I can’t see how they can do it.
The make you register a squad of 20 odd players and who are they to say one player is better than the other.
As long as players are registered they have no merit to say who should play.

It took Liverpoll £200 million to get to this tier, if you look at the last three years, you will see that Liverpool do not belong to tier 1 outright yet?
City should have beaten you at Anfield, as they outplayed you there and missed a penalty, and did beat Liverpool at their ground.
City remain the best side in this league outright.
Liverpool are the best of the rest, I agree.
We have a bunch of injuries, and we have to manage our resources, being the only side not to have spent ridiculous amount of money to bolster the side.
It makes perfect sense to rest our players against City as most people here say, clearly we don't have a chance anyway?
We don't have frail mentality: you're just making a wum comment there?
A team with fail mentality does not react to going down inside 2 minutes to the tier 1 side, like you like mention, and reply with 2 goals within 3 minutes?
At 4-2, we didn't just go and give up, we went and got the thirds goal?
