Todays's result is just a joke, how xould we even compete in the Premier league if we can't beat teams at in the relegation zone. I think we are fooling ourselves. It will need a miracle if we are to go up !!!

Minus the timewasting antics, Wigan fully deserved the 3 points, ok we deserved a point perhaps. They we're excellent and could have quite easily caved in when a goal down. I was sat with my dad watching the game an we we're saying about getting 3 or 4 goals, we didn't even get a second..... We are clueless in the box which why we're 3rd, not top. Our crosses we're embarrassing, Wigan won everything, we couldn't bring on a target man cos we didn't sign one, we took off 2 key players for no reason whatsoever, we got it horribly wrong. we now have to rely on bloody Hull to stop the blades, if not we're in the ****ing playoffs.

The worst thing about this is we now have to endure the dreaded play offs and go through more heartache.

Ellando, you ask a good question about this squad competing in the Premiership. I believe we would be relegation fodder without significant investment.

Just can't get a handle on how we seem to lose against a team that had lost 8 , QPR them Brum and then a team that can't win away for toffee with the worst away record.

How is it we can yo-yo so badly?

We seem to thrive against the better sides, no disrespect to Wigan. We'll probably end up beating Villa. Today hurts, a lot. Atleast we should have drew, atleast be a point in front, but no, yet again we get in front of the blades and then gift it back. Monday can't come quick enough

I remember the 89/90 promotion season we lost at this stage at home to Barnsley 1-2 but I don't feel as confident this time we will go up automatically.

I remember the Barnsley game well. That squad was much better than this one though. As I've said above, this squad would need a virtual overhaul to not be relegation fodder.

Obviously the team as it is would struggle if they got promoted but you would expect Bielsa to strengthen with 5 or 6 new players but it's looking like a big ask to even get up now.

Just have to hope that after being crucified today we rise again and beat Brentford Monday night.

Said all season we're an average team, never looked like a promotion side, nowhere near as good as 89/90 team. Today's performance was everything that's wrong with this team, no creativity and full of mistakes at the back. Sheffield United better team than us.

We're now down to hope rather than belief.

The team for Brentford away needs to be injected with some energy if we are going to get a result.
Where is that energy going to come from though? I can only see it from Shackleton and Bielsa never plays him.

Well said, Lubo. Whilst 3 wins may still not be enough, I totally agree that the season isn't finished.

I have been on this site for a couple of hours now trytng to make sense of how we lost against 10 men after being in front and I have come to the conclusion God hates Leeds.....or it was just a bad day at the office and Lord Bielsa will get them firing Monday night and all will be well agian.

I might just add I have consumed 4 Bud lights!

Bad day all round.....

Agreed, but when the team loses to a team with such a woeful away record this season (worst in the division) and there are only 3 games to go, with tougher looking opposition than the team level with us on points appears to have to play against, it is a huge buzz-kill!

Bielsa showing why he’s never won anything. Unable to coach defending and scoring goals and before anyone says it’s the players. This is the squad he chose and thinks are good enough. Harrison and Alioski must be the worst left side combination in the division but he sticks by them. Incredible.
