Sanchez was excellent. I thought Foyth was okay but no more.

Davies is stealing a living from you guys, Poch should drop him for the rest of the season, couldn’t believe how poor he was. Alli seems to lack application to actually get stuck in and compete in a match, games seem to pass him by. And Eriksen i don’t know what’s wrong with him but he seems to be struggling a lot.

Son and Lucas are a dynamite duo up top.

Tiddles, Sanchez did play well, I spend a lot of time sticking up for him on here, but I will be the first to admit he has not played nearly as well as last season, but he is still only young, as is Foyth, so a learning curve for both.

Same old areas causing issues sandy mate , central midfield and full backs, both needed addressing in the summer. Sissoko massive miss today.

City will now win the title, cannot see them dropping a point now

CL place at stake for Utd. They have to get smth out of that game, even it means helping Pool win the league.

Yup there are a few problem areas mate, but in general I think Spurs are competing with the very best now. I remember back to the days, when we used to get absolutely tonked by any half decent side. Now we are in most games right up until the 90th minutes. Bit disappointing to lose

Liverpool twice
City twice
United once
Arsenal once
Chelsea once

when in a lot of those games were had chances to really not only win those games, but win them easily. Next season need to get back to beating the top four sides, especially at home. I think the new ground will help.

United are not better than Spurs, see City winning that game. But it is a derby so I suppose anything can happen.

Performance was there so not too worried going forward.

Hopefully have Winks back Tuesday and we should be good to go.

Our performances have been good mate, at Liverpool and City twice now, and with the new ground and the home form there, should still get a top four place. Just need to find a way next season though of not only put in performances away from home in the big matches, but also come away with a result, it is what separates the good sides from the very good sides.

We started off so well with a 3-0 win at Man United, but have lost every big away game since.

No excuses Tuesday. Should and must win remaining games.

3 wins and a draw gets us 3rd imo

Strikes me that KWP is done if Foyth is being played out of position ahead of him

Thought that was a good performance. We definitely shook City up, and a draw would not be have been an unreasonable outcome. And all this with our mate Oliver in charge !!
Positive to take forward from this:

> That is three games in a week against probably the best team in Europe, and they never beat us by more than one goal and we dumped them out of the CL Proves we are, with a bit of investment in the team, nearly there.
> Last of the big teams now past us.
> All 4 remaining games winnable.
> Win all 4 games and, with Chelsea playing Utd, I
think we will be guaranteed top 4.
> Our goal difference was not damaged today. On a bad day we could easily shipped 3/4. Still have best G/D compared with the other 3 teams, which I think being maintained could be absolutely crucial when all is done.
> No further injuries ( I think ) today. Lets hope Dier had no ill effects and Sissoko and Winks are back asap. Squad is down to the bear bones, and we need these players back and playing.

All in all we should still be happy with where we are regarding top 4 and a fantastic semi to look forward to.

Foyth seems to start slowly and get better in games.

Walkers handball should be being discussed more than it is.

Pity were running out of troops, Son running on empty, Lucas has never played so much football at spurs who have we got coming back? Janssen should be fresh I suppose

So now, just to top it all, we need to win all the remaining games in the league and secure th CL for next season, and get a good high advantage at home against Ajax.

Probably season ticket holders selling their tickets, they’ve seen the new stadium now and can’t be aarsed supporting the team when we need them most

Oh don’t say that as we’ll get season ticket holders coming on and telling us how they are better supporters than us because they spend huge money on their ticket

They are season ticket holders, because all other available tickets have been sold. I think some of our season ticket holders will be getting a bit of a shock, when they find they cannot sell their tickets, and they will just lose the money. Not like at Wembley when they got an automatic refund if they didn`t want to go to the game. It seems some season ticket holders only want to see the best games.

I thought the whole idea of being a season ticket holder was that you wanted to go to all the homes games, emergencies aside, it seems some cannot be bothered to go to the likes of Brighton and Huddersfield, their call if they are happy to like lose £60 or more every match.

I bet they’ll all able to make the midweek CL final though

Thought we should have had a point out of this match.
Son had chances but took just a step too long today.
And LaPorte made a terrific tackle to stop one chance.
- Davies wasn't as bad as some are saying - he was up against Bernardo Silva who is a box of tricks. Of course he can't keep up with Walker, but who can?
- On the other side Foyth did well dealing with Sterling.
- Sanchez had a good game and Toby/Jan were solid as usual, except for that header off the Aguero header, tough to stop that one.
- Yes we really did miss Sissoko in Midfield. Dier very rusty. Consequently the game was played in our half most of the time, not good!

Where is Lamela? Is his hip hurting again? Our squad is threadbare!
