Yeah, that was just as predicable. Well done.

I have no narrative, other than an opinion based on repeated experience - that no City fan I’ve come across can have a frank and honest conversation re the financial doping that has occurred at the club and the human rights abuses perpetuated by the nation state that funds them, or the fact said nation state is likely using City/City Football Group as a vehicle for territorial political and commercial gain. Every comment I’ve ever read ranges somewhere between deflection and disingenuity. Apparently Joe Lewis bet against the pound 30 years ago, so there.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ALAN SUGAR, the Tottenham Hotspur chairman, last night felt like the man who has avoided the death penalty only to be given life imprisonment. The Football Association's punishment for Spurs' financial irregularities included the deduction of 12 points from next season's Premiership campaign, suspension from the 1994-95 FA Cup and a record pounds 600,000 fine plus costs.
It amounted to the most severe sentence meted out by the English game's ruling body to one of its members. In the circumstances, simple relegation - Spurs' greatest fear - might have been a blessing.

Whatever happens now jurgen has had a successful season. There isnt a manager in the world id prefer or could do a better job with the finances available
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unless he wins something then it won't be successful.
I still think City will drop points and you will win the title. You may well win the CL as well. Barca are not that
good. We really should have been two up before we started gifting them goals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Disagree. To go toe to toe with city and get where we have in CL is a success when u consider finances. Utd City should be cleaning up every season.
Would you consider Wolves a successful season?
Liverpool are overachieving. Ignore history.

By that standard City are getting away with murder.

Oh well. All this talk doesnt matter. Man City are going to win the title. Today’s match was the match where I could have seen City drop points but Spurs left their boots at home.
Deep down, United and their fans would rather lose to City to keep Liverpool from winning - even if it costs them Champions League football for next season. Why? So they - along with fans of other clubs - can continue their “it’s been 30 years” dig at us. And remember, United are still a massive club CL or not, and they have no problem spending over the top to get the players they want.
So, unless a miracle happens, City will be PL title winners and we will have to go into another year wondering...

Yep, Scholar et al were bent owners who came close to sending the club to financial oblivion. Sugar did the right thing in negotiating a higher fine in exchange for the footballing punishments being revoked - we made the SF of the FA Cup that season. This dates back to financial irregularities from owners of 30 years ago. We were grateful to Sugar for righting their wrongs, even if he was ultimately a poor chairman who lacked ambition he saved the club from catastrophe.
See how easy it is to accept and be candid about reality?
One day we might see a City fan do the same re their CURRENT owners.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We don’t have owners, we have a singular owner. If we did, then perhaps you’d get a decent response when you’re asking city fans the questions you’ve put there as then they might actually hear some relevance.
Ace,
That’s quite a rant. Nothing at all to do with anything I’ve said on this thread or anything that I’ve said to you.
Yeah, there’s a narrative all right with you.
You don’t come across as someone who is able to have a discussion with. You just act like a hard man, dishing out insults which you no doubt think are funny or that they actually get to people.
You’re a joke. A la my comment likening you to Barry. Keep it up. It’s boring, repetitive, and juvenile. Barry at least knows this. I suspect you do to.

City have by far been the most successful club in the last 8 years, receiving far more than other clubs in prize money and on a par with anybody when it comes to TV income.
Why do some cretins delude themselves that we totally rely on a rich owner?
