Why give Ole time? PURELY because hes a legend? Any other man would be under huge pressure. Crazy appointment.
I didn't say that Rouge, you did. Never mentioned anything about being a legend. So you don't have a point.
Plus he has already shown it's not a crazy appointment.
Not havin a go at your post mate. Just the general opinion.
It was a mad appointment. It was new manager bounce nothing more. 6 losses in 8?
If it was another manager would he be given time like Ole will be? Was never good enough for united
We don't know if he is good enough or not. Were you writing the same thing after the first dozen games. Have new Liverpool managers had the same new manager bounce, it's talked about as if it were common, but it's not.

He's not signed a player yet you fecking pleb. This is NOT his team. That would be like blaming Klopp for you finishing 8th in his first season when it was down to Brenda mostly.
Also pts wise he's still got more than most since he took the job incredibly. We were just so far behind 4th that it hasn't made much difference. Still 3 pts from 3rd tonight incredibly and 2 behind Arsenal. Amazing really given where Jose left us.
Go and get a clue.

And you are entitled to. Just as we are to strongly disagree, and to point out where you are wrong.
Who was last united manager to lose 4 nil?
An appointment made on the basis of emotion rather than merit was always at risk of ending in tears, and there were plenty of those today.

Agree
The manager didn't, the team did. Fans always talk about managers as if they were playing. We got beat 6 -1 by City at home under Fergie. Managers can only do so much, especially as we keep pointing out after such a short time with no one player of his own.
When Klopp had been a manager longer than Ole he lost 3-1 to Swansea, bet you were saying he was a crazy appointment.
If it was made on that basis you may have a point. Luckily it wasn't.

Jose. What’s your point?
Agree with the OP.
Ole cant be blamed for this mess. Ok, maybe he’s not a top manager but he needs to be given more than the back-end of a terrible season to prove whether he’s the right man.
Every single interview or quote I’ve seen/read from him since he took over, he’s said exactly what I’d expect a Man United manager to say. The guy gets it, let’s give him a chance to sort the mess out - although as we all know it’s not just down to him to get the club in a fit state again

Managers can only do so much, that is true.
But two games in a row he has made absolutely disastrous tactical decisions before a ball has been kicked.
If he learns from those, then that's fine. I won't be judging him for another fourteen months, at least.
But he and his team haven't been nearly up to scratch in recent weeks.

He and his coaching staff have continuously made tactical adjustments from game to game since he joined and it worked out right up till the first 30mins of the 2nd leg against PSG when we were a shambles... We dodged a bullet that day...
The consequence of all this is that we've not been able to develop a defined way of playing over the last few months and we're dealing with the consequences... Also why our home form suck... That and the shiite players...
I’m starting to wonder if Ole has started the process of moving players on and there is disruption at United.
If that’s the case then bring it on, get the overpaid primadonas out of our club.

Good point, makes sense
For on the field matters, this is it in a nutshell OP
Too many passengers in our squad that we’ve been carrying. Time to stop the train and let some hindrance players off.
I've been saying for months that the effort levels are completely unacceptable. There were people here who, even watching our players stroll through games, wouldn't accept that that was the case. Maybe now the manager himself has called the lazy bass terds out, they'll see that I was right.
If we could make half a dozen changes or more in the summer, I would fully support that.
Excellent article, Ole needs time and money. I believe he will get both.
I had a list of 11 odd players that need to leave. May add to it
Thing is, as we’ve seen at Chelsea, player power is what always wins out
Can Ole (or anyone) win when up against the likes of Pogba and co?
I’d love to think he can but is what is so rotten at the club unfixable in the short term and does the club have the patience to forego short term success (and I don’t mean titles, to them I think short term success is top 4 finishes and CL money) to allow a whole new group of players to come through organically rather than just short term buys.
I myself want Bale to sign - IF the club need that short term fix but if the club don’t then if Ole is told he won’t be sacked no matter what then I’d like to see Pogba and the rest of the primadonnas gone and would be more than happy to see us in 7th/8th for a couple of seasons while a rebuild happens
Whether Ed and the owners care is another matter

Half a dozen odd changes, get rid of 11 odd players and promote from the touthe team.
Aim for a top 6 finish and strengthen a bit more the second season
Your club reminds me now of our club in the neighties.
Buying players with no plan behind it.
When Jurgen came most of our players were not good enough. He has changed almost the whole first 11 in the last 3 years.
Ole can't do that in one window but what I heard from him yesterday is he wants hardworking players and less social media, show boating players.
What you had under Fergie were players who put a shift in combined with the talent.
Why sign a player like Sanchez when he is 30. Lukaku is not a modern type striker with a good first touch. Martial doesnt work hard enough. Pogba will work with the right midfield but not this one.
Ed Woodward is not a football guy and has no clue.
