KT won’t play again this season, just let him rest for 2 months and he’ll hopefully be back to his best.

I don’t think the board can or will appoint Lennon even if he wins the treble now. The unrest amongst the support towards him is alarming as fluck.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No don’t say that.... maybe someone has to sing a bad song at him to get the support on side, it worked for Stevie Clark when the fans were starting to turn

The board aren’t as daft as some think, they know if the appoint Lennon they’ll have the majority of the board on their case almost instantaneously when it inevitable goes Pete Tong.

4 years ago today since KT made his debut at the age of 17.

In that time he’s played almost 200 games of football.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Said it loads of times on here...we've managed that lad disgracefully badly.

Of course he wanted to play every game but he should have sat out 'easier' games especially at home. Would have been worth spending a few quid on a decent back up to be able to do that.

The Rosenberg left back should be a transfer target if our scouts are worth their salt.

Excited to see Shved next season but it’ll be for nothing if we can’t get a decent right back behind him.

Know what’s mental, we’re 3 points better off this season at this stage than last year

We were 10 clear with 4 games to go.

This year it’s 9 clear.

Aye Dundee look well and truly humped.

Hopefully St Mirren can get ahead of Hamilton too.

Dundee United cemented 2nd spot as well so hopefully that helps them in the play offs only having to play 2 rounds.

Lennons tactics of crossing the ball into eduoard was embarrassing. He ain't that kind of striker. In fact no team plays that way anymore. Lennon is fast becoming a dinosaur.

Hardly any of that. You're imagining it. Hayes put a few crosses in...and fixed a couple of lovely balls across the face of goal. That's a great ball in any language.

And totally pointless when our main striker runs deep everytime.

Aye..

You're really supposed to have midfielders for that but our guys are standing about goading folk on the half way line.

It looks like the new manager will start next season with this or there abouts.

Bain/Gordon

Ralston
Ajer
Jozo
KT

Brown
Christie
Mcgregor
Forrest
Shved
Hayes
Rogic

Griff
Eddy
Bayo

That's about the core for me, and it needs strengthening. Anyone I have missed? Arzani, Oko-felx, Dembele, Henderson might get in the first team squad but the likes of DDV, N'tcham, Izzy, Boyata, Lustig,Benko, Burke, Weah, Toljean, Allan etc.. either wont be or should not be here.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree with most of that. The loanees will go back. Unless N’tcham changes his attitude he will be playing with the reserves. Best if he gets sold though 👍

The performances are at about the same level as they have been for 18 months. Especially away from home

Seven goals in seven games says different.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No. It really doesn't. The performance were rubbish and remain rubbish. The goals are irrelevant....just a few good saves and a few missed chances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The number of goals scored is irrelevant..?

Aye ok then.

The league is won - and WAS won when we went 13 points clear- it was always going to pan out like this.

Hibs are a decent side and are unbeaten under their new manager in the league (as are we). We played a bit meh and still had the chances to win - we didn’t take them - so onto next week we go.

I honestly think some Celtic fans have short memories - finishing 21 points ahead of Aberdeen in 2nd and 39 points ahead of rangers in 3rd is feckin ridiculous - both in terms of how good we were and how bad they were- it wiz a great laugh but it’s not the norm.

We have won two trebles in a row, won this seasons league cup, are on the verge of confirming our eighth title on the trot m, and have a Scottish cup final against hearts to clinch an unprecedented ‘treble treble’.

This has been achieved while coping with the worst season in memory with my injuries to key players - some have been out for months on end.

Brendan Rogers will always be idolised in terms of achievements with Celtic but let the club (‘his’ club) down massively with the timing of his departure - we’ve had to cope with that and a new manager coming in.

Some folk need to get a grip and appreciate how amazing these last few years have been.

We are lucky to be where we are

Enjoy it while it lasts

Didn't expect you to get it. If you had watched the game yesterday you might have noticed that the hibs keeper made a few very good saves (not Lennon's fault except he might have bought him so you can blame him for that if you like) and we missed a few snips.

On a different day we could have won 3 -0 with that performance. The performance would still have been rubbish though. It's not a difficult concept.

Think what’s evident is the difference when there’s no No10 like Rogic or Roberts behind the striker - kind of pointless playing our system without an out and out Rogic-type 10

It’s that quality to win these games that will win Celtic the league.

We have pretty much destroyed Hibs every time we have played them this season but still haven’t beat them. We have either missed numerous chances or their keeper has had a worldly.

And we have had more games like that than Celtic. Celtic have popped up with a few late winners under Lennon and I can’t really think of a single game we have won late on. I can think of some we have dropped points late on though.

As much as yes we have been inconsistent at times and people like to mock Gerrard the fact is he has done a decent job and over the piece there has actually not been too much between the teams.

The recruitment is massive for both teams this summer. I actually think Celtic have a wee bit more work to do than us.

I think we will become more consistent and expect us to improve against the teams that sit in and have killed our season this year like Aberdeen.

Next season will be properly interesting imo.
