Wolves v Arsenal Preview [LIVE]

Surprise result at the weekend losing to Palace, partly because of the relative league positions of the two teams, but even more so that Palace scored 3. Arsenal had only conceded 3 in their previous 8 games. Important game for Arsenal who are in a close battle with Spurs, Chelsea and Man Utd for the two available Champions League spots.

Wolves in an even closer battle for 7th place with only one point separating 7th and 10th. Wolves and Watford have a game in hand over Leicester and Everton and Watford host Southampton at the same time as Wolves play Arsenal.

Little doubt that it will be a better game to watch than Saturday's drab game against Brighton, lets hope Wolves can raise their game against a top 6 team as they have done very well all season. Don't expect much change to the starting 11 although Vinagre and Traore are both pushing for a chance. Dendocker will surely replace MGW who was excellent for half an hour at the weekend but then faded out of the game.

I'm sure MGW was included to give us some extra attacking options, but sadly it didn't happen. Our main transfer target in the summer has to be a player or 2 that can help break down sides who just come and park the bus.

Dendonker I'm sure will replace MGW and possibly Vinagre in place of Jonny.

Not confident at all. We really need to win after the awful loss on the weekend. I’m doubtful whether we can do it though. And we all know how well Wolves play against the big boys...

If we had beaten Palace, we could have afforded to drop points here. Now it’s a case of, if we don’t win, we won’t get top 4 and putting all our eggs in the Europa basket.

Will be shocked if we beat Wolves. We got outplayed by 10 men of Watford and played Napoli with a 2-0 cushion.

They will have to be a dramatic change in form and clinical edge away from home if we are to get into top 4 now.

Can't see anything other than a Wolves win

Also with Ramsey out, we will probably see more of Guendouzi who isn't good enough to be starting games for us

No Aubameyang?

We need to have more control in mf. Auba gives us nothing in general play. If he plays, you sacrifice Iwobi or Mkhi and I think you need one of them for sure

I actually think Auba will probably start over Laca

I'm very confident we will win this one. There will definitely be a solid reaction.

I wish I could share your optimism. I just don’t see it happening unfortunately. Sincerely hope you are right though.

We barely create chances away from home. The only convincing away performance we have had was against a poor Fulham team.

Personally I would try to incorporate Ozil and Mkhi in the team. I know that leave us short defensively but we need more creativity in the middle of the park. We are going to concede regardless

I'm hoping you field the same 11 as against Palace

Unless we get an injury between now and then, I can assure you Jenkinson, Mustafi and Elneny will 100% not be playing.

That's a shame

0-0 for me, if we can stop you scoring.
We have no firepower at the moment.
Hope I'm wrong.

Share your optimism. Think the way Wolves play suits us.

Wolves have a strong team though but under pressure we are able to produce. Expect us to bounce back.

Just woke up from a Brighton induced coma.

I'm fairly confident that this game will suit us much better, if we can nick the ball and set up a few counterattacks, I can see us nicking a goal or two. That said, I fear arsenal will be smarting from Saturday and will be well and truly focused on victory with everything to play for after the weekend's results. Should be a bloody good game.

Dendonker back in for MGW would be my only change.

Arsenal are a joke club, other than a couple of glory years under the dignified Wenger, who was hounded out the back door by the boo boys. Arsenal have since done nothing whatsoever and will be Fighting for 7th place along with Utd next

2-1

We can be quite good at bouncing back from poor results. Won’t be shocked to see us beat wolves and Leicester, then feck up against Brighton and Burnley. Brighton and Burnley could be tough especially if one of them need a result to stay up
