Plus you lost 4 points this season to your biggest rivals. If you don’t go up I would say we have had the better season. Would take finishing a few points below you but beating you at home and drawing away. You know you would too!

Reds are everywhere, we got the lowest points total, call that the worst team if you like but that could be disputed. Yes we were utter scheiße but arguably no worse than huddersfield are this season or the dreadful Sunderland and aston villa sides of the recent past, they just happened to amass a few more points than us.

As for your claim about preferring to finish below us but getting a couple of results, not at all, on a personal level I don't have an utter hatred of forest like a lot of derby fans do, I just enjoy the healthy rivalry with the banter but would much rather finish higher in the table as thay means we have been the better team over an entire season, not just a couple of games where the best team may not necessarily win.

I'm with you Harper, I too have no real hatred of Forest. For me it has always been Man Utd, which I put down to living in the north west part of the county. The Manchester printed papers always ignored Derby even when we were winning two championships and beating Real Madrid 4-1!

How many places below the worst team in history were Forest that season? So what did that make Forest? (It is 26 if you don't remember and that was only because Leeds were penalised with a points loss.)

I know we have never spent 20 years outside the top flight of football. As for hating Forest fans, isn't that normal.


I actually despise the plastic Man Utd fans most. I remember one glory hunter back in the 1960s saying that when Derby are in Europe Heanor Town will be in the first division. A few seasons later Derby were in Europe and Man Utd were in the second division. Almost instant karma.
