I think we ought to play 5 3 3 every game Ramdini.

Cole though was hardly noticed so I think that is fair.

Cole is quality and composure ombined. Missed him today.
Going to say it again, but Tom 'I'm sure there's a great player in there' Lawrence, was dire. He contributes nothing, is no threat, has no physical presence, is not a ball winner and is crap in the air.
Disappointed Waghorn was substituted.
Heading practice required for the defence.
Johnson had a poor game. Bennett won some good headers.

Thanks Wellies. I was busy Monday after the match so had not much time. It's a bit obvious from my errors - but I feel I have to get it in as early as possible. It was hugely exciting and satisfying - as a Rams fan - Having now seen the replay it seemed a certain penalty to me. His intention was to take out Bogle and not the ball.

3R, that was a "stone certain" penno.

looking at the highlights can't think of a ref who wouldn't have given that penalty. A reckless challenge when a player is running in the penalty area is always likely to have that outcome.

We appear to have lost RR the drum from JA606. Fed up of talking to himself I suspect or he had an h fitted to his keyboard and couldn't handle the shock.

To be fair he has been penning articles and basically talking to himself on the QPR board.

Back to related matters, thanks for the synopsis Ramdimi, if truth be told when I returned home with LNSR, we were also both a bit giddy.

A match which threatened to peter out then have us that grande finale. This never happens for Derby, always other teams that do it to us.

You have it in One Scouse. Stone certain, no doubt anywhere.

................. apart from Norwich away maybe?

Last away 3 points in the Championship. We haven't won away in the Championship in 2019. It would be good to end this run next Saturday.

Only team we have beaten in 90 minutes away from home this year is Accrington Stanley although we have disposed of Southampton via penalties.

Re the comment about subbing Waggy, and I know I keep banging on about this on the match thread, but can someone explain to me why him and Jack are never on the pitch at the same time and yet the Nuge / Marriott combo is permissible ?

Ang, maybe its the same reason as to why Strett & Spart have never been seen in the same room?

cannot answer that Ang. But Marriott is looking well worth starting a game IMHO. He looked sharp and ready to worry any defence he comes up against.

Nope, I don't associate with petty bourgeois types with such inferiority complexes they need to buy designer label luggage. Plus he goes on package holidays, how plebeian is that?

I urge you and Frank not to ignore Marriott's contribution to Monday's important, vital win. He helped get us the penalty and was the prime assister for the second goal. He controlled and held the ball and then distributed it well. Give him another chance.

Precisely.

He could be vital for us in the next few games, Ramdini.
Just hope he can keep his 'stuff' together.

It was great thanks Ang. Great night in the 6 brothers restaurant on Girne harbour dancing with the local mafia.

Weather wasn't all that hot but when you are walking in the mountains that can be an advantage. Put on weight despite hill walking every day, going to the hotel gym and dancing. Suspect it might have something to do with copious volumes of Efes, wine and raki.
