He's no fullback, but has deputized as one, which is a really nice thing to do for your club. Unfortunately, it hasn't worked, as poorly as the chap before him. We need a real right back who has been brought up as a right back and identifies as an effin right back. Is that too tall an order for a club such as ours? Nice chap, Young, I'll give him that.

AWB looks promising but we'll get mugged off completely for the fee.
I wouldn't be against Erik Durm as a cheaper option. Looked like he was going to be a star at Dortmund. Right footed but can play LB or RB. Give TFM games where Durm is out or covering LB for Shaw. 27 in May and has plenty of experience.
Don't think Dalot will be the solution at RB. Massive hints of Varela about him. Haven't seen him play well at RB aside from against Young Boys. Made some contribution when he has played further forward but when your main opposition for the right wing is Lingard or Young it may not be saying much.

Came to the same conclusion and tbh I'm not dead against it. Sign for another club and you're no longer a Utd player, why play them when they won't be part of the team you're building in less than 3 months.
Arsenal are losing Ramsey but aren't preparing for when he leaves yet. Vital player for them still.
He's a versatile squad player who fills in at LB /RB or the wing back positions.
Defensively he is ok, prone to the odd mistake but who isn't. Attacking wise he used to be decent but has lost his legs a little and the crossing ability he had. He always gives 100% and clubs need players like him.
We also need to factor he is 33 and being overplayed because Dalot (Mourinho's signing) is not good enough yet and Valencia declined massively this season.
He gave the ball away miles away from goal against barca, and has been the villain since. Harsh.
Personally I think he's been a great servant but as always, people need scapegoats. We've seen that in the past with Park, Fletcher, Wellbeck, Fellaini etc. People just love to moan. Unless every player including on the bench is world class, people will complain.

He's been the most consistent player following Sir Alex for me.
He found himself converted to a full-back, which till this day I do not understand why he hasn't protested otherwise.
This does not excuse his lack of attacking ability, which has come under great scrutiny. His defensive side, is sadly down to our inability to play a genuine full-back. His rash tackling, is down to his age, which is ironic considering it should make him wiser with his decisions, which lately he has not been.
He needs moving on. Most of the squad do.

This. He was decent to good up until the last 6 weeks. 70% of goals we’ve conceded have been his fault in this run of sh!!t form.
One thing you can't criticize him for is his effort. He always gives his all for the club. He's just not a very good player.
Even in his winger days he used to run with his head down a lot. Very lucky lad to have played this long at United.
He had a good first season and then regressed.
Can't be first choice at United...
Not good enough to be impeding the progress of youth... Needs to be shifted.
Not a bad player in general though... Best crosser of the ball we have, even now... says a lot really...
We need to clear the house and he's top of the list IMO...
