Romero is vastly overrated by our fanbase. Plays in games against rubbish teams, still can't trap a football and would be a disaster as first choice. Rojo is a disastrous excuse for a footballer. The only time he hit the target was his neighbour with a bottle. Herrera is good, but limited. The only reason he's a beacon of light is because the rest of the team is poor. He tries hard, he digs in, but he's not exactly a technically brilliant footballer. Nor is he consistent. Martial was great til he he got a new contract. Hasn't broken a fingernail since. Was smiling when he came on at 2-0 down today. There's a reason he's being not so subtlely referenced by G Nev as letting the club down.

So no, LVG didn't leave a great legacy imo. Unless you count Falcao and Di Maria, who were great LVG signings

Tevez mustered 4 goals in his second season at United. Our fans begging him to stay are the same fans who think Romero is good enough to replace De Gea. Standards aren't exactly high

Your whole midfield was non existent last night. Lots of people point at our midfield and say how limited many of the players are but they do those limited things really well and were selected for those things so the team works. I honestly don't know what job each player had in yours yesterday.

Yeah Liverpool's midfielders are bang average but they make up for it because they run their balls off and are well drilled.

In truth there's only one team in the league with class in the middle and that's City. And they have about 5 or 6 not 1 or 2.

People always look at the passer but watch last night's game again and look at the players available to pass to. There's no movement and no plan in how the players move. They seem lost in what they are actually supposed to do when moving forward. United need a pre season big time. You won't be getting top four.

Spot on there .. time and time again a City player has possession and there are without exception 2 or 3 team mates available.

Romero isn't as good as De Gea but, as SAF once said about Les Sealey, he may think he's a better keeper than he is which could help on Sunday if Ole decides to take De Gea out of the firing line.

This is part of it, another is you don't make those runs if Pogba has the ball - he either won't give it at all or holds it too long (resulting in timing of run being off or FK for offside).

The passes aren't going to come from Matic/Fred as they don't have the vision or abiltiy.

Been a lack of stand out quality Brazilian players in the PL considering their footballing reputation. Not sure any will go down as real greats. Possibly Firmino, Fernandinho and Edersen. All relatively recent.
