Sammy Ameobi has signed a one year deal. Back up for Joe Lolley and an upgrade on Gil Dias.
Yes, he should certainly bring more to the table than Dias and Goncalves offered last season. It is only a year’s contract so if he bombs then he won’t weigh the squad down for too long. I have a sneaky feeling he might prove to be a bit of a super sub for Forest.
Villa still sniffing around Lolley hoping that the Ameobi signing will open the door for them.

Mr Randall is a bit conspicuous by his absence...
Got rid of a few now. Grant gone to Lincoln, good move for everyone, don't think he was ever going to cut it in the Championship (certainly not ready yet anyway)
To be fair Will, Mr Randall has always maintained a low profile. As Chairman his role is to ensure that the owners wishes are carried out.
I think the squad still numbers about thirty - far too many. And it looks as though more are coming in rather than departing.

I only commented on it in the context that last summer he was pictured with each and every one of the new signings. No sign of him at the moment. Probably nothing and he is busy, probably...

Jorge Grant obviously has a bit of ambition and sees Lincoln as a club on the up with great prospects. It is a great move for him. There’ll be several others kicking their heels down at the training ground who’ll need to be carried out by a forklift truck to get them away from the club, unfortunately, as they won’t have that same drive.
Linked with an ex-Rennes and Lyon right back now. Seems the club won’t be going back in for Byram. Fair enough if the price isn’t right. He did very well in his few appearances but I wouldn’t break the bank for him. This French lad could be the next Louis Jean...😁
