£5 million for Arfield? More chance of the €23 million bid Real Betis being true.

I doubt he’d leave Rangers anyway, he’s been down south for the majority of his career.

Arfield left to play for us.

I don't think we could get him to leave, he turned down PL offers to come here.

I'm not convinced there's truth in it.
Despite his massively improved form. Big player for us.

Think it was £8m Burnley knocked back from West Ham for Arfield a couple of seasons ago?

As I said £5m to an EPL team is nothing. He performed well at that level previously and would be viewed as a low risk addition to the squad.

He is a massive Gers fan and is supposedly great around the dressing room and with the youths coming through.

I wouldnt expect him to want to go. And I wouldnt expect SG would want to lose him.

But I do suspect if you effectively offered SG a swap of Arfield for Kent on a permanent deal he would take it.

Value wise that would make sense but i think Arfield is more important to the team than Kent.

I wouldn't go anywhere near that kind of money that Liverpool would want for Kent.

If it was 2 maybe 3 million for him then I'd take the punt, but they'll be wanting upwards of £8M I reckon and at that price I just don't think he's worth it.

Good player, but only for a handful of games this season, the rest he's drifted in and out games. Candeias' stats for the season have been better as well.

For the money they'd want you'd be wanting consistency and end product and I just don't think he can produce that week in, week out.

I'd also keep Arfield.

5 million? wooft.

never worth that imo. but english clubs are pretty stupid so you could absolutely get it depending on the bidder

I think Liverpool will realistically get maybe £5m or so plus add-ons for Kent.

But in saying that Derby paid anywhere between £5-8m for Waghorn depending on what rag you read.

Celtic are interested in Kent. He would suit our club better.

Arfield would do well to get a 3-4 year contract on a huge salary with Palace and the fee imo will depend entirely on his existing contract period remaining. No idea what it is.

Kent I think will leave. Can’t see Liverpool agreeing a second seasons loan.

Arfield has 3 years left with us.

He would probably double his money going to Palace so that would be the temptation for him.

In that case I’d say £5-6m is easily attainable.

If arfield wanted it and there was upwards of 3 - 5 million on the table it's a no brainer and a nice piece of business.

Equally I wouldn't be trying to force him out either. If we get a bid let the player decide. Either way works for me

Kent will sign for West Brom or summat for £6M and £30k p/w

Man United reported to be interested in paying £47 million for Moussa Dembele.

Would love to see the big man down there, he'd run a savvy.
