Yes indeed. “See you next season” was virtually written across Pep’s eyes.
Now there's no Europa it's time to be concerned who we'll lose, I can't see there being any chance that Tilly will stay and then there's the others the vultures will be looking at.
Shame because that team with a couple of additions could have gone a long way.

Nacho is dreadful.but interesting to hear that some unhappy fans think he may have missed on purpose.
He didn't of course he is just poor.
Nah, he's just awful. Up there with Akinbiyi as one of our worst ever signings.
I haven't seen much of Leicester this season but from all the press reports i have seen you are beginning to play good attacking football, so what happend last night especially in the 2nd half. You showed no interest in getting out if your own half until we scored.
Was that Brenda trying to do his dipper mates a favour by not losing?

I haven't seen much of Leicester this season but from all the press reports i have seen you are beginning to play good attacking football, so what happend last night especially in the 2nd half. You showed no interest in getting out if your own half until we scored.
Was that Brenda trying to do his dipper mates a favour by not losing?

He was trying to get a result from the game. It was a strange way to go about it for me, as we could have caused Man City much more trouble if we’d played our usual game.
That said, if Kompany hadn’t scored a wonder goal or Nacho had taken his chance we’d be talking about a draw and a good result.
I never like allowing a team like Man City just play against you like that though. They’re too good, they will pick you apart and they will score. Had Kasper not made a couple of worldy’s, we lose that 3-0 which wouldn’t have been an unfair reflection on the game.
Shame really because it was nice to see the confidence on the ball playing out from the back.
Call it good or bad tactics. It almost got a result. Almost for me makes it bad tactics. We’ll never know how the game would have gone if we’d been more aggressive. Could have got something or got spanked.

Our golden chance fell to a Sunday league standard player. Vardy would of buried it.

The tactics that we employed yesterday were no surprise to me at all.....
Yes there was a thought of us fighting fire with fire but that hasnt worked at all against Man City this season.
My own personal opinion is that if we have been more attacking then we would have been picked off very easily as Man City attacking options are world class.
There was potential for it getting messy before half time if we went that way, so Brendan set us up to frustrate and put his confidence in the holding midfielders, the defenders and Kasper. And was hoping that if we frustrated them long enough they would throw caution to the wind and we could counter late on and nick a goal......
It so nearly worked, such is the fine line between success and failure.
Oh well,we gave it a shot and had a sudden influx of Scouse supporters for 93 minutes.
Bring on Sunday where I think we will go out all guns blazing this season.
