Yeah Messi’s overrated because he doesn’t track back enough.

That chance in the first half, I thought the stupid move was passing it to him in the first place. I think it was alba, who had a clear shot on target in the first place if he’d just hit it.

I thought Suarez and Coutinho were both appalling tonight

exactly, they should of at least got the shot off. but i guess they're always looking for messi.

The Spanish press said it would very likely be a Ronaldo vs Messi final when the QF draw was made.

This is why I can’t stand the big 2 in Spain, they always overlook/underestimate the English sides

Yes, maybe, but it's just my opinion.

But, no, not overrated just because of that.

How did he and Ronaldo fare in the Worlc Cups thay've been playing in?
That's when you meet the best of the rest of the world.
If you are branded the best player in the world, then that means, imo, the best overall in the game.
And imo, none of them are

Dembele should have scored at end at Nou Camp a couple of big chances. Messi seems to have quiet games away from home in CL it seems. Maybe its the negative tactics.

Arjen Robben, would've been the best in the world, if he didn't try so hard to be the new Hollywood star

With that logic giroud is the best striker on the planet.
Pogba is the best cm
Lloris is the best keeper.

Tonight the fans and Liverpool players got in Messis head. You could see it.
They kept pushing him last week and the ref gives nothing for it and tonight little shoves, kicks, pushes here and there and the crowd were absolutely brilliant as well, all this does make a difference even to the best of players.

I envy the effort Liverpool players put in, I really do.
Mane and Henderson running full pelt at Barcelona's players in the 93rd minute was great to see.

Makes me sick watching our lazy fackers do nothing against bottom of the fecking league huddersfield.

If im honest Barca been average away in the CL only against Spurs they were ruthless. Stil had their chances, but we done great what a comeback. Lets complete the job and not lose this final. We can play freely on sunday whatever happens.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs had half their team missing when they came to Wembley, so it was easy for them. It is clear that this Barca team is ageing. The first leg score flattered them, and they have basically been battered by a Liverpool reserve side. They have a huge rebuilding job to do when Messi packs in.

To be fair, I thought his passing was immense tonight and he was badly let down by his teammates on numerous occasions. I did feel a bit sorry for him with the performances of those around him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He should've buried that chance in the first half though, no idea what the hell he was thinking trying to dribble it in
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If it is the one I'm thinking of, where they had a 4 on 2 and squared it to Messi then it would have been disallowed for offside. The linesman flagged but Liverpool already had the ball so the ref waved play on. (VAR may have overruled the linesman but I haven't seen am offside line view of it so am only going by what happened on pitch).

He himself had a golden opportunity to kill the tie in the 1st half. He also had more shots than any of his teammates tonight.

You can't deny he has a tendency to fade badly in games when his team are getting outplayed.

If Ajax complete the treble, De Jong for Ballon D’or?

The 55m or so Barca paid for him was a snip. How come Barca can get a De Jong for the same amount of money that we paid for a bloody Fred

75 million euros, plus a further 11 million in variables

Barca have already said a while back preparations for when Messi retires are already set in motion.
