Yes fair play to Nando. Some good hold up play, his touch and passing still leave a lot to be desired, but he opened space for Moura. Ajax panicked and couldn’t handle him

Some people laughed at me when I said LLorente should play?

The same very people who are very quiet now?

It was the fact we had a target man to hold the ball same when Kane plays, we are better when we have this, Dele was good tonight Rose also and Lucas didn't stop

Yeah that's why I thought Llorente would be a good option for us to use. Blind didn;t like one bit playing against a taller player than him

well said

its a squad of players that get you thru a season

we brough nobody in the last 2 windows and were told we would get nothing this season

well it looks like we got champions league football again next year barring a disaster and a champions league final to look forward to

last player we brought was moura

I sometimes wonder why Pochettino does not start Llorente?
He draws attention of defenders, and that frees up Moura and Son and Deli.
If he does nothing but just stand there, he's more of a threat than Trippier!

Former Ajax and Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "The introduction of Fernando Llorente made the big difference after the break,.

"Matthijs de Ligt and Daley Blind were embarrassed by him, also by the connecting midfielders of the Spurs. The defence of Ajax could not play that.

Llorente is better off the bench

Owned the centre banks, particularly Blind. Held up every ball into him, and distributed well.

Outside of Moura, was our game changer, with best display he has had for Spurs.
