I would not sell Auba...but we'd be lying to ourselves if we have not questioned his work rate, general play and the missed sitters. He definitely does his best in front of goal, but if I had to pick...over the course of a season, I'd take Lacazette. He presses, holds the ball up well, helps out on defense and generally is a good finisher. I think the days of having a striker who does little else than put the ball in the back of the net, are over for Arsenal. We dont have the possession, or control games well enough to have a poacher.

AMN - anyone wanting him sold is a fool. He is not a RWB and has performed VERY well there. Still needs to mature a bit (see the handbags at the end of the game yesterday for example - you have made it to the final...dont be stupid and get yourself sent off).

Iwobi - Gah...he is skillful no doubt and at times has been the one player who can push opposition back with his pace and trickery. BUT his end product is appalling. Goal scoring record is pitiful and he also does not have nearly as many assists for playing where he plays. I would reluctantly give him one more season to really find his end product. If no improvement is made, I'd cut my losses. There are better players than him lower down the table who would love to play for a bigger club and bringing in one or two for competition with Iwobi is also needed.

My issue with Auba is his soft touch in the league. He has scored goals but hardly involved in much else. Gets dominated easily. Where has he been during our wretched away campaign this season?

His performance yesterday was blistering but its in the Europa where Giroud is top scorer.

I want to see those type of performances in the league on a regular basis

Pretty sure castor used to bum off Walcott who did the same things, but at a lesser rate

Probably when he was slating someone else off. Wouldn't be for positive reasons.

Where has your entire team been regarding your away form this season? Nowhere to be seen. Defensively away from home you are poor and you almost get outclassed in some cases by the opposition you face, domestically speaking.

How can you argue with someone has scored 29 goals for you this season? 25 yard belter or 2 yard tap in, still counts as a solitary goal. The best type of striker is the one's who might go missing in games but can score a goal even if not involved. It's almost saying to the opposition, "you're going to have to score 2 to win even if we play poorly because we have a forward who knows where the net is".

+1 I agree on all of that - especially Iwobi, who I had such high hopes for but whose end product (especially his horrible shooting) still isn't there. Fish or cut bait for him next season...

We should not even be considering changes up front. We have two massive jobs in defence and midfield to get sorted! We have two strikers who score, are developing a good understanding and partnership and overall are not particularly prone to injury, like van Persie.

Bigger problem might be keeping them if we do not get champions league and offers come in, like news Barca want laca... would we turn down £70,000,000 and would laca not jump at the chance?

I would be very happy if didn’t see much movement in that department at all this summer

Honestly don't think Barca are interested in Laca. They want Greizmann though, and if they get him then Atletico could come back for Laca (he was meant to go there instead of us, of course).

£70,000,000 seems hugely inflated, especially for the way Arsenal sell players. But it is not as if Barca do not chuck massive sums around for players not on the level of the la masia crop. Apparently they are looking to sell about seven players they only bought a season or two ago, the club doesn’t give a **** about spending.
