No Bolton story tomorrow by nixon. Usually have a brockbank signing for someone else to relieve or add to the monotony.

May as well just enjoy what's left the weekend before the thunderstorms start on Monday.

The beano have a new clock. 40 days and it's ticking https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/17724433.inside-wanderers-why-fans-faith-has-to-hold-out-just-a-little-longer/

Sammy ameobi looks like signing for Nottingham forest. Big wage off the books for next season but no transfer fee we would have got if we actually paid him.

Another story from Iles with no real information. Does he really think that writing this rubbish is productive? It just P's everyone off. I wish he wouldn't bother until there is something with substance that he can report instead of playing at being a reporter.

Either that or if he has real information, just tell us, we are adults who can take a hit if it's true or is that the problem?

At least the new beano clock cant be altered, unless there is a postponed game

Well Parkinson and is team don’t seem to be looking elsewhere for a job,
It’s always the ones you don’t wont, that don’t wont to leave.

looks like Luca Connell will be on his way, cant blame him.
The club needs to be handed over soon, otherwise we may not be able to field a full team.

posted on 24/6/19

I'm not sure that he's ready to leave but if he does, it will be a massive blow for the fans who have no control over present events.

If he does go, then it just makes the job for any new owner more difficult, it makes me wonder if the amount of players leaving their contracts is adding to the cause of the delay in purchasing the club, as in it devalues the club.
Catch 22.

Midfielder Jack Earing goes to Halifax in a 2 yr deal 😡

posted on 24/6/19

I honestly don't think he is good enough and I doubt he would have been retained anyway. He's gone to non league to try and forge a career for himself like Tom walker has. Looking desperate for the club now. No pre season training planed, no friendlies, hardly any players, no kit, no season tickets. How long before the administrators admit defeat that they can't sell the club. Only a matter of time now before it's over.

Isaac, if that was the case you would think that they would be pulling out all the stops to get matters sorted asap.

It's getting to the point now that the players, staff, and fans really need to know what's happening.

Doidge has signed for hibs for £250000, after trying to flog him to us for £1m.

posted on 25/6/19

He would have been a good signing at that price.

I should have said in league One.

training and fitness tests for the upcoming season have been pushed back to next Monday. The administrators are hoping that progress can be made on the takeover. It doesn't fill me with confidence that it's going to happen any time soon. These minor problems don't appear to be minor after all.

It's about time one party or the other gave way or canceled the takeover if matters can't be resolved. That would leave the door open for the next best bidder to get on with matters in hand, namely, sorting out the football club.

Wonder why the Hotel hasn't been put on the market yet.
Could that be the reason for the hold up?
The preferred bidder wants the Hotel as well or the deal is off?

posted on 27/6/19

It could well be at the heart of the delay. With Mike James having poured millions into the Hotel you can imagine that he would really want it to be part of the deal. The fact that two administrators have been employed to sort out the sales can't have helped the situation.

In Mark Iles last words on the subject, he stated, "If there is a material danger to the takeover, then it will be reported". There has been no news for over four days now, so can we take it that the sale is still progressing?

posted on 27/6/19

Let’s hope there is some news today , it would be a bit much to go into next week, with nothing.

posted on 27/6/19

36 days to go on the beano clock. Personally I think if this takeover fails then that's it. Simply not enough time left for another party to take it over.

posted on 27/6/19

Marc iles is pr##k teasing that the administrators will be making an announcement later.

posted on 27/6/19

I don't know what to expect now, this matter is dragging on longer than any of us expected it to. I think that the administrator should get together with the bidder and make a joint statement of intent. it's not just becoming tedious it's becoming worrying. The staff players and fans deserve better.

Expecting the worst and hoping for the best. What else can we do, but wait it out?
