Their last 3 albums were no bad, they'd actually learned to play a bit by then.

Over rated bunch of whanks who were basically a boy band, had fook all on the Stones.

The Stones were middle class art school students

To call the Beatles a pop band is ridiculous.

They revolutionised recording techniques and song production that almost every rock band after emulated, copied, and further advanced.

As for favourite album of theirs.. either White Album or Sgt Peppers

And me taking the p¡ss out of the Stones background is just a cheap dig.. quality band with a hoorna mount of sh¡te in amongst their back catalogue.

60's/70's produced THE best music of all time. No decade compares to either.. and it's tough to pick either the 60s or 70s over the other.

If I had to say one.. it's maybe the 70s as there was more variety.

Stones with their greed over bittersweet symphony puts me off them a bit. Still brilliant at peak though

Mick went to the same school as me, Keith a worse one. Definitely not middle class art school students

While I was a mod and the Who are my favourite band of all time for me the Beatles are the greatest band ever assembled. I can while away hours listening to them. Ps their beauty album would be either River Soul, A hard day's night or Sgt. Pepper's.

The Stones were outstanding but in no way can they be compared above the Beatles

Rubber soul even

When the Beatles had enough of touring cos they couldn't hear themselves play over the screaming and decided to instead do a live satellite link up round the world the rolling stones were in front row seats. That for me said that one of the greatest bands if all time knew even they were in the presence of greatness. Like Frank Lampard turning up to a Leo Messi training session.

I'll always be a mod and the Beatles were never part of our"movement" but they are/ were THE greatest band if all time

Plenty of middle class kids went to my school, that means nothing. I'm as rough and working class as you can get, and the school was in this area.

#metoo

Belfast high was full of middle class kids and kids from loyalist estates all mixing and I got on with both and still have mates from the toughest areas and also the richest bsckgrounds, and it makes us better people.

I think I am working class or lower working class, but do not care that much.

Some working class folk are whankers and some rich people are sound.
