Morning, my head says draw but will be positive 2-1 rovers wills enjoy
Don Goodman yesterday, "The top 5 in league one is the best there's ever been" 😲
More ammo for Grant McCann to fire up the players.
Let's be positive. 2-1 to Rovers. Marquis.
Difficult to predict this one.
Rovers 1-1 Charlton
Marquis to score
Crowd to roar the Rovers on
Difficult to ignore the fact that after 45 minutes Charlton look the better footballing side. Sadlier looks overwhelmed by the occasion and Kane is not contributing much.
Rowe is needed and someone to put some pressure on their defence. They have taken very good care of Marquis.
Some improvement in the second half but Marquis finding it necessary to drop right back to try to get some attacking moves going does not say much about the general level of enterprise. Blair, Andrew, Butler, Marquis and Copps (in the 1st half) showed suitable spirit, but Kane so often seems to turn the wrong way and is too easily dispossessed nowadays perhaps because he is injured and Whiteman was not at his best. Why was Copps subbed, because he seemed to be doing OK?
Sadlier doesn’t take any risks which is no good for a midfield player and ought to have been subbed sooner. May gave them more to think about in his ten minutes.
Copps and Wilks are the only two of ours who could match the majority of theirs for ball control and although there might have been an element of luck in one of their goals you could not say the result was not fair.
Very disappointing, as was the crowd. It seems there under 8000 Donny fans there, but over 10,000 for the last league game. With the game on Sky, are too many Rovers fans a "Couch potato", or just too cheap to buy a ticket? My wife and I have looked into how we could possibly afford to come to Wembley if we make a the final - and we just live on USA Social Security pension and our savings.
I'm praying for a miracle for next Friday. We have had them this week with Liverpool until today, and 'Spurs. Thank you Matty for keeping us in the game.
Mickey, I think that the crowd was down for many reasons.
It was on a Sunday and lots of people do other things then with their families.
It was noticeable that the family stand area was nowhere near as busy as usual.
In regular home games in the league season ticket holders who don’t go are counted as though they are there because their seats have been sold so the regular actual attendees are probably overstated.
There was no special pricing for this game and we know how tight us Yorkshiremen are.
When I looked around our three stands before kick off it did look as though there were plenty of home fans in but from the quoted figures it appears not.
I assume Season Ticket holders (whether present or not) are included in regular season match numbers, but presumably they had to buy separate tickets for the play off 1st Leg.
In L2 the two highest placed play off contenders have lost to the two lowest placed ones.
In the Championship the two highest placed play off teams lost to the two lowest placed ones.
I became a temporary Derby County supporter tonight. I don’t remember being as excited and happy for another team for a long time, but it might have been something to do with how I feel about who they beat so wonderfully well.
You wouldn’t have been the only temporary Derby fan tonight Don.
Play off chokers fail again.
I bet Look North and Calendar won’t put much focus on the game when their Thursday night shows go out.
Too right hound.
Did James Hayter make you cry.
I remember they just had to get on a bus go to Wembley and play a pub team and collect a trophy.
The BBC were disgusting
Just got home from watching the Met Opera Live at our local cinema and then having dinner out. I could not be more happy with the Derby win! A great end to a good day. Let the Rovers carry on this year's play-off momentum...!
Cant wait to watch calendar and look leeds tonight.
All those new scarves to cry into 😂😂😂
Weeds........ Weeds are falling apart again 👍
They beat you at home
They beat you away
But Frank didn’t worry
He won the big day
Leeeds choked again
And threw it away
NOT crying Frank Lampard.
Who are you hoping wins tonight chaps?

If we do beat Charlton which is a long shot, we might feel that we had an equal chance against either.
Really hope Sunderland don't go up!
