We are 4th on expected points. Since OGS came in we dominated nearly every game on expected goals and are a clear 3rd on expected points.

He should pay more attention to his own team
I mean the tw@t didn't know his team had played us recently in the FA cup and then tried to say you threw it because you were afraid to play city in the final

Lonewolf said that dude, get it right
Interesting what’s happening over in Madrid. They are still struggling since Zidane came back, and his presence has obviously been huge at Real Madrid. A lot of people were expecting him to come in and completely change things around here, yet that’s not even happened at a club he’s managed with superior players than we have. Both clubs seem to have massive problems that go far beyond just the coach. Sadly for us we aren’t in as favourable a position to stop the rot.

No one here has explained actually why Robb is so wrong then?
Fack me, the results have been worse than under Mourinho in the past 12 matches. If you cannot beat Huddersfield and Cardiff, even with this lot, you have to challenge the manager.

We slate Ed all the time but the most sensible thing he could do would be to sack Ole before he actually starts to lose the fans who stand by him so loyally and then bring in Poch and let him do his thing.
————-
Not happening Robb, give it up. Poch has simply said that Spurs needs to start a new chapter now we’ve established ourselves as a CL club and moved to a new stadium - to let it be known we need to invest seriously in the squad, which we will.
Utd have got their man already.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is absolutely no sign that Levy will cough up the dough, Ace. I think Poch will walk if Levy doesnt get his wallet out.

He signed his brother... The gk
Couldn't get a work permit and went on loan
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really?
Dont remember that one at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah... Vanja i think his first name was
Played in the under 20 world cup final that Pereira scored in
He couldn't get a work permit and spent his time on loan in Europe before being moved on
But yes... Lvg signed milinkovic-savic... Just not the lazio one
Greatteams, yeah it was a smart move from Zidane. My point was that both clubs are in positions where a lot of it is out of the coaches control, and performances and results are indicative of that.
Zidane has a far easier job on his hands next season, I don’t think you can even compare the two in terms of what is needed in the squad - though both are similarly inexperienced in having to oversee a huge rebuild of a club the size of Madrid and Man United.
It will be interesting to see how things play out for them in the summer. There’s actually talk that Zidane isn’t going to get it all his own way in the transfer market. Wouldn’t surprise me if he walks again if that’s the case.

If you are trying to wum, then this is not the way
Lole is clearly out of his depth, would make you a laughing stock if you sack him although I agree with Robb it's the right decision.
If day if one manager was able to spend 700,000,000 over a period of seasons things would have been sorted by now.
Problem is you have now had five managers, four of which have attempted to stamp their styles on the club through transfers and playing styles.
On top of that, you have brought in top of the range divas/ entitled players (Pogba, Sanchez) who are on massive wages and can seemingly sway the dressing room against a manager. Might not be Pogba it Sanchez who ate leading that type of behaviour but you do not get to five managers in five years without a hostile dressing room
Player power is so influential in modern day football now and for United it's all toxic.
It's not just what you see/don't see on a game day though, it goes much deeper than that. It's a day-to-day basis. How are players treat, who do players look up to, what are some players' opinions etc. Is the United training ground a place where players want to be now? Do the United players really enjoy playing football at the moment?
I've always believed that if a player in unhappy at a club, if you cannot resolve it, sell them and move on. You need harmony in your squad to be successful, at any level, that should be the absolute foundation. Unfortunately for United, that's not going to happen over just 1 summer either.

It would madness to do so.
It would because clearly all preparations have been made for the coming season with him as the boss. And The inability of the club to make snap decisions that prove to be effective are quite obvious.
But I’m highlighting the point about how the club is run. The lack of ruthlessness from the top is a major issue. It’s the reason this squad has been allowed to fester, under a succession of failed managerial appointments that incidentally went on for too long, leaving us with arguably an even tougher rebuild than the one Van Gaal was left with.

Zidane will be given serious cash this summer, the problem is that squad is old in all over and it’s gonna take a couple of windows at least. If they get Lewandowski, Eriksen and Neymar/Mbappe then they will be back in business
