I'd love to know what really goes on behind closed doors, and the thoughts that go through Eds head.
It's clear to fans, pundits, experts and ex players that we need a footballing structure within the club. Why hasn't he does anything about it?
Agree with the OP.
Ive been saying it for a few years but kept getting shouted down this site.
We are finished as a force for a while. Thats the truth. This is a 10yr rebuild.
Not a quick fix few hundred million splash.
We'll keep sinking a little further until people actually realise how bad it really is.
I suspect that will be the last time we’ll see pogba in a utd shirt.

It's not a rebuild. We won't be winning the PL or CL ever again under the Glazers. And I genuinely believe that. It's that bad. They've been winging it since day 1 and Fergie n Gill held the place together.
1 billion has left our club and gone to the banks to pay off their debt since 2005. 1 glazer down 3 more to go. Fecking parasites.

Nothing to do with it. Bad owners and bad decisions have been made.

With competent owners and CEO we could have remained competitive for the big honours post Fergie. But we haven't got them.

He's partly complicit in all this Glazer stuff. He fell out with the Irish guys who sold to the Glazers. He also covered for them with 'no value in the market BS'.
However Fergie owes us nothing so we can't blame him. The Glazers need to go. 1 is 6 feet under. Just need to get rid of the 3 Stooges now. They can clear off back to the States.
First off,
The board needs to admit to themselves that there are major problems at this club. Knowing it is one thing, but not being proactive about it is another and is detrimental to the future of this club.
I understand why some folk who work in high pressure board level occupations try to put on a brave face and dilute the problems as minor issues. But if they think about this clearly they can resurrect this club. By doing so, they also save their own asses from redundancy. Because if this carries on, then heads will begin to roll from lower board level until higher board level.
I know a lot of folk want them gone (alongside all the deadwood players) me included. But the uncertainty of finding a suitable owner that is a good fit for United has not arisen yet. I would be all for a change of ownership if it was good for United. But there’s one major problem - the massive debt and the uncertainty of United, which is likely putting off some potential buyers.
I'm baffled as to how so out of touch the glazers are especially when you compare them to liverpool's American owners who've done everything thing right it seems since they took over at Anfield
Oh yes, the old SAF no value in the market nonsense.
SAF always said the money was there. The amount the Club has spent in the last six years suggests to any rational person that this is true.
Now stop whining and see what happens in the summer and where we are, once we have got rid of some players and bought some fresh faces in.
Oh, and SAF falling out with the paddys had little to do with the Glazers taking over. That would be more the clubs decision to go on the stock market and the massive profit the paddys made on their shares.
Blaming SAF is both lazy and ignorant of the facts.

Their owners have done everything most of our fans are calling for the glazers to implement
They've got the proper balance it would appear between commercial and on field goals as evidenced by their recent huge football shirt sponsorship

Well. What a mess that was.
TBH... if Ole walked now, I wouldn't blame him. This job is becoming a poisoned chalice and could scupper his managerial career.
Most players, the Board and the Owners need to be publicly outed and ousted.

Barca are a bit cyclical tho
60s 70s and 80s were patchy with barely any league titles.
Even in the last 30 years they take dips for a few years.
They do bounce back tho... Because they have an identity they try and stick too
We're struggling... We'll be back... Just might take a few years and a change in the boardroom
Surely at this stage it would be easier for the glazers to do the right thing because it takes a lot of hard work and wasted money to fack up as much as the club are at this time
Like I said theres a ready made blueprint and template to follow if they opened their eyes to how their fellow Americans are operating up the road

Pointless comparing united with Barca and Real. None of the players at either of those clubs are in a league system as truly competitive as any premier league team.
That is why they can both concentrate far more on European competitions. It's that simple.
But it is correct to point out is bad direction at the club, has been for about a decade. Awful academy players expected to perform at the required level, players signed after misleading performances/stats from weaker league systems, not recognising the basic principles of football, instead going for that which is most marketable and thus forming a shapeless, directionless shambles and then sit back and let the gibbons blame the manager/coach.
In this respect the fans/supporters are as culpable as the directors. Start by supporting club, not the players. Stop pretending they are good enough and let the club know it.
Pathetic
Only one way forward, scour the epl and northern/eastern European league's to find players with both the quality AND the character.
Players like lingard and herrera have neither the quality nor the character, players like rashford and martial are just not winners.
Been pointing out since united lined up with the weakest starting formation I have EVER seen against Liverpool in the Europa league (worse than the squad that were relegated - I kid you not) that this problem runs very deep.
Stop keeping sacking managers, sack the players
Look on the bright side ...
... Moyes original 6 year contract will now have come to an end
