I imagine your side would play a lot better if you had Kante instead of Pogba in the midfield box to box role
Industry over flash seems to be the current trend in midfield
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pogba doesn't play box to box very often. When he does, it's because we're playing with a midfield two and usually a complete disaster.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Isn't that his most natural role though?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No; his most natural role - and the only one he is consistently good in - is on the left side of a midfield three in a number eight role.
He needs a DM in behind him and a B2B on his right doing the leg work.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This was his France role yeah?

When it was tried with Matic and Herrera, it worked really well until both got injured.
People quickly forgot about those key injuries though.
Me... I'd be looking at bringing in the right calibre players to help Pogba rather than starting from scratch and needing all three (possibly two, if McT works out).

Its not about ability - it is about effort. He gets singled our because he doesn't run enough and he doesn't care. If a player gives his all, even if he has a bad game, the fans are more likely to give him a break.
