I think everyone is in agreement he's useless in a two. I have never seen a midfield player so poor off the ball.

City have attacking mids too who work their backsides off and they are flair players as well. Pogba just doesn't want to do it. Bit like Ozil.

If we were an amazing team we could probably get away with him in the side but we're not sadly.

I think he's a really talented player too which makes it worse. But he's got to leave for me. Get over 100m and move on.

That's bull. Evra is protected ing Pogba and if he isn't Pogba has probably been whinning and lyingb to Uncle Pat. If he was committed then he wouldn't have been strolling around the pitch against Barcelona, Everton, wolves ,Huddersfield, etc. I literally burnt more energy screaming at the players I those matches than Pogba did

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Can you tell me why he’s singled out with worse players on the pitch?
----------------------

Its not about ability - it is about effort. He gets singled our because he doesn't run enough and he doesn't care. If a player gives his all, even if he has a bad game, the fans are more likely to give him a break.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Almost our entire squad doesn’t run enough, he definitely doesn’t run the least. They’re people miles behind him in running stats, it doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be criticised but ffs no individual should have to take that schit.

Even the people around those 2/3 nobHeads were staring at them in disbelief.
------------------------

He does run a decent amount, or at least jog a decent amount, but he doesn't bust a gut for the team at the right moments and often fails to track his runner. It is a lack of effort/desire.

I wouldn't personally carry on like that, but supporters pay a lot of money to watch United. They have a right to vent their frustrations if they feel a player isn't trying enough.

Moldova and Cyprus weren’t at the world cup.

Blarmy, yeah that guy was a ridiculous assister a few years ago. He even managed to get Giroud double figures in the prem, that alone is goat play-a-making.

Cesc at Arsenal as well was ridiculous for that.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah Cesc for us was a more deep lying technician as his lacked the energy to be higher up the pitch. Could still ping a ball through like no one I've ever seen though

What was the incident with the fan, missed all the footy at weekend
-----------

He was doing a lap round the stadium and got a load of stick - particularly from one fan, who was calling him sh!t and telling him to f-off. Pogba gave him a bit back. It was quite amusing really.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

He didn’t actually give him any back, he was pleading with him to stop
------------

I didn't hear Pogba say anything on the video. He was just waving at him sarcastically and pointing at him. Looked to me like he was giving him a bit back.

HE'S SHEET IN A TWO DAZZA, END OF.

Nothing further needs to be said on the matter. I officially close that line of discussion for good.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This. Pogba either plays the furthest forward in a midfield three or we get rid of him.
----------------------

How long have we seen saying this for VC? He needs to be furthest forward with two hard working players behind him, or sold.

Look at his body language. He puts his thumb up, puts his hand on his chest and then puts his hands together 🙏🏼 asking for him to calm.

If you can’t hear what he says and all we have is his body language to go on then it certainly doesn’t look like he’s being abusive back.

Watch Pogba in games where he’s been in his favoured position but we’ve been boxed in and there’s no outlet for the counter.

Then watch Pogba playing in a deeper position when there are options ahead for the counter, you see a different player.

It’s not simply position, and never has been with him.

He used to play cm and still rack up assists for Arsenal, he was amazing for them.

I think Silva has been better than both in the prem, but I don’t think he was as good as them when it came to the final ball.

Fabs assist record for us was still pretty insane. He managed 0.81 a game in 16/17

Pogba has become an unnecessary distraction - not entirely of his own making in fairness - but I can't help but feel we might be better off cashing in and transforming the midfield into a more functional unit, rather than try to set up the midfield to get the best out of one player.

We'd be looking at completely overhauling the entire midfield in one window, which of course is going to cost money, but there seems to be three young, hungry, hard-working and talented midfielders with a good blend of attributes available this summer in Tielemens, Rice & Fernandes.

The likelihood of bring in three midfielders alone seems very slim in one window, but if we are to lose Pogba as well as Herrera, we need two just to break-even numbers wise. And we needed a quality midfielder to come into the team even with Herrera & Pogba!

Bit disingenuous to compare the Sterling and Pogba situations. In fact it’s insulting to compare the two

Say it quietly, but coming off the bench I suspect he'd have grabbed us a couple more points had he stayed.

He needed to go, no doubt, but he was a useful weapon as a plan B late on.

Nobody likes to see any utd player being on the receiving end from our own but with the gutless performances of late there was going to be some sort of a backlash

I like pogba he comes across as a good bloke probably too nice and pally pally at times with the opposition. He could be a great player for us if his overall application matched his undoubted talent.

Evra is friends with Pogba, they're always on social media together.

If he says he thinks he will leave, I'll take that as a real likelihood and almost a certainty thats what he wants.

He's often poor too. However this is a good point, propel expect too much of Pogba, he isn't going to win a game on his own from CM, that isn't how it works.
