Watching the game, I was hoping for a Villa win. Their game suits us much better and Dwight Gayle always scores against us. The fact that Villa couldn't muster a chance against ten men speaks volumes about their front line and I was surprised how little Grealish created with all the space that he got after the sending off. Mind you, he was pretty anonymous before the red card. We have taken 4 points off them this season and it should have been six. This Villa side is very beatable in my view.
Gayle is suspended for another game so would have missed the final, along with Brunt and Robson Kanu.
Germany, the best side doesn’t always win you know, not how it works. Think the worry on here and my worry is that we will out perform them at Wembley, but the ref will give them a dodgy a penalty and us a soft red card because all Villa do is try to cheat. It just feels like they cannot be criticised by anyone in football. (If we get to Wembley)

Villa were in the final last season plus have a better squad and defence. Heart screaming at me that Villa will win it. We can beat them but i cant see us getting much change out of Mings and Tanzuabe. Weve got Derby to worry about first anyway.

I agree we do complain, but if physical teams like West Brom didn't kick us all over the park we wouldn't feel the need to. Refs can be incredibly lenient in this league.

I watched the game in a bar in Cardiff last night. Fans from various clubs watching. Overall consensus was Villa players were embarrassing. By the end EVERYONE was hoping WBA would win.

you throw yourself on the floor every time you lose possession to slow play down. Fake injuries. Hound the ref. Manager leads by example in that regard.
Grealish can't wait to charge in with chest out, trying to be aggressive, as long as he has got a team mate to protect him. But as soon as someone gives him a dirty look he goes down like he's been shot.
It says something when you've turned most neutrals into Leeds fans if we get to the final because of your disgraceful tactics
If any teams needs to stay in the Championship it's Villa.
My preference for promotion of the 4 would obviously be Leeds. Of the other 3, i would normally say Villa over West Brom over Derby. However, having watched Villa these past few games i have to agree that they have seriously wound me up and i ended up cheering for West Brom last night too.
Someone post that video of Grealish for villa1987 where it shows vast majority of free kicks he got were for outrageous diving.
Grealish loves running into players and dropping to the floor like a sack of sheite, straight back up into the refs face shouting 'oh my god' with his head in his hands.

But then Bamford ended up getting our player sent off? Who has Grealish had sent off for deliberately cheating? No one.
They deserved the red last night, McGinn did Brunt and it was an awfully rash challenge that fully warranted a second yellow. So if you're on about that for cheating then you're completely wrong, I'm sorry.

Yeah Bamford cheated and no one is sticking up for him, can't stand diving and cheating to gain an advantage.
West Brom's red last night was deserved. Players should stay away from the ref though and let him do his job, villa players asking for a red from the first one. Horrible bunch.
