Who would you rather play in the final if you get there?

McMullan was the only boy on the park with a bit of quality and composure.

Woeful standard overall but felt United just edged it.

If you win on Friday then it sets you up nicely for the final round and will also have an extra day to prepare for it.

I'd rather play St Mirren. Far more confident of beating them than Accies, who seem to always do enough to stay up.

The standard was poor last night and the standard of the Championship as a whole is very poor. However the standard of the bottom three of the Premiership is just as bad and that gives us a chance.

Not wanting to get ahead of myself, but a vast improvement would be needed if we were to get promoted.

Never a red, i was fuming at that last night but overall United were the better team and their fans made much more noise than the home ones

Would be typical ICT though to go and win at Tannadice now, they always do better when the chips are down.

I follow lower league football.

I didn't watch the game, however I have formed an opinion despite this. I have not seen the red card incident but it was never a red. The ref has had a mare there. United got a bit lucky with the goal. I have not seen it but I think there was a foul in the build up.

Anyway, I read that away goals don't count in the play offs so pretty pointless United scoring. A waste of energy which could have been better used on Friday when you could get a home goal, which count in the play offs.

The Premiership is boring anyway, not a league I'd want my team to be playing in. The Championship is exciting and competitive, with some fantastic days out.

Play offs are brutal for the team that lose. Watched WBA - Villa last night. After all that hard work and a 46 game season, to lose on pens must be a sickener.

if St Mirren play anywhere near the way they played on Monday they should beat United or ICT

3 wins 3 draws and 1 loss in their last 7

the annoying thing for WBA was they were the only team winning that until the red card

Hopefully the Arabs will complete the job and retake their position as Scotland’s top leagues most handsome team

and if away goals counted they would be up. I preferred Villa to win over them though tbh. Villa or Leeds to be promoted would be good.

also good to see Lennon down there with Garry Parker, favourite for the job down there

and Parker isn't allowed back at Celtic so

This is nice news.

What did Parker too?

The split is good preparation for whoever ends up in the play offs as they are playing teams that are almost as garbage as Dundee Utd/ICT each week. It's more of an upper Championship than lower Premiership. Playing Celtic, Rangers etc is just a pointless exercise. St Mirren are sort of starting to look like a team now that they've put some momentum together.

the split is the best thing brought into our game in recent years imo.

The reality is that the Premiership team is always going to be favourite for the playoff.

The result between St Mirren and Accies the other day was a good one though, as it means both sides have to play their strongest teams at the weekend so no rest ahead of the playoff. And one team will be on a massive downer too after failing to escape.

no idea but APPARENTLY Lennon was told he wasn't to come back to Celtic Park when he took over from Rodgers

St Mirren are lucky St johnstone have hit form again, if they go to Accies and play their best they'll beat them

before the split St Johnstone were hoaching

So you will be supporting Dundee on Saturday Ivan, so that you get to play St Mirren instead of Hamilton? Shame that you are relying on your rivals to get you promoted rather than being able to do it yourself.

Good man, the pair of them are scruffy basturts. I really hope Lennon does not get it because I'm gonna end up hating him if he does.

I will be hoping Accies get a win on Saturday to make the St Mirren result irrelevant.

But it would be nice for Dundee to win and therefore finish only four points worse off than United did when we got relegated. Although obviously Dundee didn't get three points deducted like we did for fielding an illegible player which does make Dundee's overall performance look even worse than ours did.
